I went there yesterday. Staff was grumpy (woman), service was very slow and the queue was too long as I am heavily pregnant it was hard standing in the queue. I gave it another chance going in today. The queue was long but moved quicker than yesterday as there were men working there but the man was very rude. Thats it. I won't go to this brance anymore. I went in there and pay for it, not asking for charity. Food was cold.

PLEASE AVOID THIS BRANCH. The food is absolute rubbish and staff don't care about food hygiene whatsoever. I bought sausage rolls from there on 16/10/2023 as take away and it was very salty and not warm enough either. As soon as I ate it, my stomach started rumbling turned into stomach upset The supervisor guy (an Asian guy) at the counter is extremely rude and he has no manners when dealing with customers. A month ago, while I was waiting in the queue, I have witnessed an incident when a young lady came asking him about her lost phone. I couldn't believe that he was being very vulgar to her asking "some favor" from her in return to the phone. Everyone shocked to witness the incident and the guy behind me told him that this is not right and he still carried on like it is normal. This filthy, rude guy should be sacked. Unbelievable .

Staff were very confused about the O2 offer, and after 5min of back and forth, I got the drink that was included in the offer, but the person in question behaved as if they were doing me a favour, saying I should have paid extra for it.

Always out of vegan options but other than that, quick service and friendly staff

Greggs is one of my first class shops to buy their chicken bake.

Chicken bake was cold, service needs improvement.

I used to like going to Greggs every now and then but my recent experiences haven't been very good. Staff used to be friendly and always smiling, but those seem to have left and been replaced by grumpy and rude people. Stock availability is poor too.

It's a Greggs, always busy but staff are friendly, helpful and respectful.

Lovely lady served me, very friendly. The only problem was I wanted something sweet to go, but there was literally nothing available besides gingerbread biscuits and muffins. Also, Greggs really need to do a better halal selection, nothing really on the pasty section besides cheese and onion and vegan sausage. The only reason it gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is because of the customer service of the lovely woman. Otherwise ⭐️⭐️⭐️ was more than enough.I purchased a salted caramel latte and cheese onion pasty (pasty was cold, but oh well, still edible).Otherwise, the place was clean, but products were scarce on the display, empty hot food, no desserts, and pasty/pizzas partially finished overall not a great look.

Always understaffed and under stocked. Constant long queues in the morning, with dithering, slow service. Irritating when you just want something served quick, can't wait for an alternative bakery etc to replace this dreadful place but its Whitechapel, its addicted to mediocrity and poverty so I'll doubt it
