Second dinner with family in two weeks. Really good food and drink, great service and a lovely ambience. I highly recommend The Change of Horses.

Absolute rubbish waste of money. Sunday lunch virtually inedible, poor service, never again. Avoid at all cost.

This was the first pub, as an individual, I went to in 1981. I believe it's been through a few managers since then. It's a lovely pub inside, full of character and has a decent garden, for those wishing to be outside. It also has a function room you can hire.I have been back several times on the last year. The staff are generally very polite but they could do with a uniform or code of dress, as some of the women dress as though they are working at Kings Cross, if you get what I mean? The food can be hit and miss also. I've had a fabulous meal there and a not so good meal. Maybe there were different chefs on.It is worth a visit, though, and definitely worth supporting.

Enjoyable birthday celebration. The staff were friendly and helpful the buffet had a good selection & was of a good standard. 2nd party we've had here and loved it both times.

What a very weird coincidence- not from round the area but have friends down this neck of the woods. Last year we visited a pub in westerham after a walk in chartwell and today we visited the change of horse with a local friend and to our surprise we run into the same barmaid that worked in the westerham pub last year. As mentioned in previous review this particular young lady (who shares the same name as myself and I’m told the owner who I hope sees this review) Jayden. Her service is impeccable. From the minute we walked in the door to the minute we left we felt welcomed and looked after. She was rushed off her feet as she appeared to be the only staff working but that didn’t stop her. We ordered from the special’s menu starter and main for £12 and we’re not disappointed. The food was great we had the soup to start followed by a chilli and my friend a ploughman’s which were both lovely although the rice tasted like a pre made packet however at the price i would not complain. We decided after the lovely Jayden told us how good the desserts were to have chocolate cake which was to die for and a crumble which was delicious even if the portion size was very different. A couple of whiskeys in, nice food and wonderful service I decided to enquire about a Christmas Day booking. A little disappointed to hear that they were unsure if serving food when it seems the rest of the industry has sold out but alas did not have an impact on my experience. I’ve said it before and I will say it again Jayden’s service is outstanding we did not want for anything even after a busy day. Service charge well deserved. This pub could absolutely thrive with its good food, incredible staff. I just hope on my next visit it’s busier with more atmosphere

An old and slightly worn PH with a nice friendly atmosphere. Popular with dogs and their owners .
