Fantastic friendly little pub. Got stuck in the village for a couple of hours with the kids and couldn't have been made more welcome.Great pint of Whitstable Bay and the oxtail crisps are great !
One of two Nice village pubs. Adequate garden but there are better if that's important to you. On Fridays has a visiting Pizza van which offers fab pizzas at reasonable prices.

The Woodman is a great village pub that feels like you are taken back to an older time when you enter. The layout is quirky, but charming and it always has a good selection of Shepherd Neame beers on draught. Although I would not change the decor (love the hop vines in the bar area!), I would say that perhaps it needs a little tidying and cleaning up a little.
