Decent Pret but let down by poor customer service. Why are they all so miserable and rude?

Only reason to give 1star is they never have shakes some time they tell there is noice or some other reason everytime that’s not fare i am a pret member so why shall i waste the money by taking the membership if i don’t get what i want.

They slightly confused with opening times. The wall say 28th dec they open from 6:30 am they managed to open the store at 8:00

29th December opening time was 7 am , I’m outside of the store and it’s opening 8am now. The last 3 days they been changing the opening times ,the same morning. If they know they won’t open shouldn’t leave the paper on the wall about Christmas opening time. It’s misleading.

The atmosphere in here is a reminder of the phrase "where dreams come to die". Don't be fooled by the fake reviews from people who only have 1 or 2 reviews to their name. Generally it can be seen that the staff do a brilliant job in spite of the manager.

All my life in London I never complain in any place… but no today…terrible service.. after ordering a latte oat having a subscription the barista thought it best to put the milk she already had without preparing it, the milk was cold and half cup .. when I pointed this out she continued to make other drinks with oat so in theory mine should have been the first but instead it wasn't and what was it doing? the oat milk was boiling exceeding the temperature established by their thermometer because I didn't ask for extra hot simply an oat milk no extra hot and no cold... she looked at it with her colleague they started laughing and said this is oat milk extra hot ... and I told them I asked for a simple oat latte at the right temperature with milk not boiled and used all morning ... terrible service barista not professional…

I was served by a lovely person who I believe is called Hamza. I wasn’t having the best day but he really made an effort to compliment me and ask me about myself in a very genuine way. You can tell he really cares about connecting with others. Also, the food was great. Thanks!
Pret is the best of the chain cafés. Good, fresh food in light airy environments with free water and WiFi and the Pret Foundation does genuinely good work with those on the margins. I know because I work with a charity that has seen some of the people we've been housing helped back into work on their shooting stars apprenticeship scheme, and they've dropped off surplus sandwiches at our Webber Street day centre.Whilst others are multinationals going through the motions, Pret are the real thing so I go out of my way to find their store and savour their coffee!Their juices are fantastic, so if you normally only go in for a coffee make sure you try one out
