Wonderful pub for work drinks, really accomodating and the location is out of this world.

Unmissable pub in Richmond, just on the river. Great view on the riverside and Richmond bridge. Epic its floods when the tide rises. Cosy and intimate inside like a local pub; happy and feisty outside in the beer garden (No grass though). Great for summer PIMMS and winter mulled wine. Dates or friends. Everything works here.

Positives - staff were lovely, and a great table with river view reserved for us. Huge Negative - went for very early evening dinner. 3 different roast dinners on the menu - all sold out. Fair enough perhaps!? So we went for Lemon Sole... all sold out. Leaving burgers, salads, and fish & chips!! Really poor selection considering we ate early evening. So we ordered fish & chips.... Nice piece of fish, accompanied by just 15.... Yes 15 chips!! Ok well, still hungry so let's go for Eton Mess desserts.... Sold out.... Couldn't make it up!! ;o( Great venue , badly let down by lack of food.

Gorgeous pub, great location especially for sunset drinks, but the service was pretty shocking. No roasts left on a Sunday afternoon which they only told us when we'd been seated and ordered a bottle of wine, then returned to take our order and let us know other items were also unavailable. Only one option for vegetarians. The wine offer was great and the roasts we saw on other people's tables looked amazing but go early - and I'd personally object to the 12.5% automatic tip, service was not worth half that. Spent £50 each and basically had picky bits from the starter and sides. very dissappointing.

Was quite disappointed with our experience today we had been looking forward to it after reading the reviews. My husbands soup was sent back as cold and even when it came back it was not stirred through as was still cold in middle. Had scallops there were lovely but overpriced for 2 of them. Roasts looked fab with a huge Yorkshire but expected more than 1 slice of meat for that price. Cauliflower cheese could not taste the cheese. One of the party had a plant burger this was not great quality. Service was mediocre so overall a disappointing first visit. Will not return. Spent 43 a head and only had a soft drink and some of the party did not even have a starter so did not feel value for money either.

Excellent location on the edge of the Thames. Very busy with rugby fans watching on the outside screen.

It is a real shame that the fish and chips was not up to scratch. To get to the fish you had to hack through the hardened batter, apparantly they have had a recent batter change - my suggestion is just don't cook it so long. Fish was translucent and watery. Fish pie special was brilliant!

Overpriced tourist trap. Used to be much better elsewhere in Richmond but these options have now turned south.
