I was very pleased with my return to this place. I used to go many times when it was the Glasshouse. The wild garlic starter was superb as was the veal main.The marmalade bread and butter was a disappointment. It tasted of nothing but marmalade.A small issue!All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Britannia on the wonderfully named Brewers Lane in Richmond. A great little 'pub', more of a restaurant really but busy and happy. Great staff and a wonderful welcome. Happily embed a pint of lager and noted a couple of casks on offer. This is a busy, popular place focussed on welcoming families and friends to dine and relax. A great place.

After several attempts at taking a photo of their Affogato, we gave up. We come here all the time especially after watching a film at Odeon Richmond and the affogato Is a favourite. Too bad it looks so damn good every single time we just dig in and forget to take a picture before we finish it. Service is excellent and every staff member is courteous and friendly.

My wife and have been eating here for a number years and have never had a bad or even an ok meal. The food has always been of the highest standard. The welcome from James and his family has been fantastic and the atmosphere is that of a traditional English pub of the past.The Shoulder of Mutton would always be my first choice to take anyone to, to sample first class cuisine in such a welcoming environment. There no one thing on the menu I could recommend, having tried them all they are all as excellent as each other.

Seriously flavoursome and well made food, with friendly staff. So happy they’re here in Ham. Love the Naga lamb, honestly wouldn’t say it’s EXTREMELY hot but med-hot but it’s tangy, rich and delicious. The parathas are crispy edged, velvety middle, occasional salt flake, moreish af. Bindhi bhaji comes without sauce but fried with garlic and better for it. Only a few tables and I’d stay to eat if the lighting was a little less bright, but for a takeaway curry, second to none in Richmond.

Absolutely incredible local gem! We loved the atmosphere, service and a gorgeous FOOD!We ordered a meat sharing platter - and the steak was fantastic - and paired with the cauliflower soup, absolutely delicious! One of our friends also got a pie - also super tasty.Out of all things we ordered, probably the houmous, brownie and negroni were 3/5. Otherwise we would highly recommend the sharing platter, pie, beer selection, bakewell desert cocktail, sticky toffee, blood orange sorbet and apple crumble.It can get quiet loud during match times, but they are dog friendly and if you like your sports and socialising while having a great food - this is a perfect place.Will definitely return again!

First visit, and enjoyed the experience.Located by the river, I'm sure on a nice spring or summer day/evening, the experience would have been nicer. But hey, we live in London, so I'm really not going to complain.The walk from the main road can be a massive challenge for some. I took my elderly mother for a Mother's Day dinner and felt a bit sorry afterwards. However, she enjoyed the experience.Food: The food was really nice. The showing and explaining of the different cuts helped with choices . The sirloin steak was as requested, well done, and very juicy. What I would say was that the vegetables could be more. 4 sticks of broccoli...Wine: Viña Patricia Melbec was a good choice by the lady who served us. Definitely complimented the meal, with a rich colour but slightly dry touch, the smell of fruits coming through. Note that I'm definitely not a wine connessieur, but I thought this one was nice.Service: 100% the best, even though it was extremely busy.The only reason why I gave 4 for the overall score was the location. On the map, it looks accessible from the main road, but it is not.There were way too many people standing and waiting in the reception area. It made such a nice place look slightly over crowded.This may have been down to the weather.Parking: There are parking options nearby, I'm going to say all pay & display. However, outside of the main times, some of these are free. But it doesn't mean parking is easy to come by.Wheelchair accessibility: It was a bit of a challenge, I would say. The ramps from the main road are extremely steep, even for walking down. I just couldn't imagine how difficult it could be for our wheelchair community.I used the ramp instead of the steps, as my mum requires some help (a helping hand). She found the walk a bit of a challenge.Maybe there was another option? If there is, then my apologies as we couldn't see it.Having said the above once on the main path, access is easy.

i come here once every couple weeks the food never disappoints and the owner is always so lovely providing great service and great conversation. would definitely recommend to people who love fresh and tasty sushi. i’ve been to many sushi restaurants even big ones like Nobu but Hanana is still number 1 for me :)

Been here a couple of times now before a match at Brentford just over the bridge. Excellent friendly service. Well cooked tasty food and good portions. We had fish and chips and pie and mash. Both excellent. Great value and less crowded than other pubs and bars on a match day.

We had a lovely stay myself and my partner. On arrival the member off staff on the desk helped us to the car park then met us out there, offering to help with our bags. The room was a good size as was the en-suite. The bed was huuuge!! Great for me and my partner as we are both tall. Located in a good spot close to everything but also quiet. We had a lovely garden view. David was amazing, absolutely brilliant host. Really engaging and made you feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh with quality produce. Would definitely stay again. Big thumbs up from us.

I came to Tan Hill for a meal. So i don't know how the bedrooms are. Staff is really nice and we had a delicious meal in here. The pub has such a nice environment.
