The food was overall great, but they messed up one of our orders, they brang halloumi out when we asked for halloumi fries, we even asked is this halloumi fries, they replied yes im sure but took it back once they realised. They said it was the chef's fault. An octopus for £8/9, was very small.

1st time back since re refurb very disappointed. Me & daughter ordered chicken a la cream - white sauce was a glowing yellow sauce - not nice at all appearance & taste ! Staff were unusually miserable really not good atmosphere! Prices increased yet service and quality of food really gone down. We have been regulars since they first opened this restaurant which was half the size ! After this experience we will not be back it was a disappointing waste of money !

Really enjoyed the food here! Generous portion sizes, friendly staff and nice decor too - would recommend.

We went this evening for my sons birthday, have been a few times now and it’s always been excellent- but today was extra special - big fuss made lots of fun food was beautiful and the service was fantastic. Thank you as always

The food was good. However, the Sea Bass was packed with bones, which meant that with every bite, tissue was needed to dispose of the bones in.The atmosphere felt like being in a student bar. It was very loud, which spoilt the experience.Service was poor, the lady that showed us to our table looked like she didn't want to be there. We were left waiting for a considerable length of time before a waiter came to take our order. The waiter that brought our drinks offered our drinks to every table around us even though they all had drinks and we didn't. We had to get his attention as he began to make his way back to the bar with our drinks. He repeated the same shenanigan when he brought our starter. The waiter that brought the bill could as well have been a robot. He was impersonable.I will not be spending my money at the Kervan in the future.

First time my husband and I have eaten here. We went with a son and daughter in law who have been before. Highly recommend this great Turkish restaurant. Excellent food and wine. Great service with very friendly personnel and a lively atmosphere. So glad we went and will be returning. Was better than we could have ever imagine!

Lovely Turkish just by the station. Tastes great with a nice mix of beers. Service was solid even though it was busy on a Wednesday. Well worth a visit

Good food and friendly service make this a lovely place, clean and tidy as well. The drinks are relatively pricey but the food is well priced.

This is our local restaurant, great food for both eat in and take away - but would say the atmosphere when eating in is unmatched! The food never disappoints and will continue coming here time and time again!

Visited this place the other day. Nice restaurant. Ambience was lovely. It was a Friday and they had someone serenading with music classics. The food was well presented, lovely and tasty. The cocktail was great too. Staff were nice and professional. Nothing to moan about really. There is paid parking on the street and free parking after 6:30pm. Will be visiting again.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is kid-friendlyParking: Paid parking on the street which is free after 6:30pm. I'm sure there might be some nearby streets with free parking but I haven't explored this.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant catered to someone with wheelchair when I visited

Had lunch at Kervan Kitchen in Gidea Park with friends. Food was good, shame about the atmosphere hardly anyone in there, and the service we received. Waiters were polite, however, I’m not sure all were trained. The waiter came over and collected plates from our starters while one of our friends were still eating. This happened again with the main course, one of us were still eating our meal and all the other plates were collected and table wiped. This is unprofessional and rude, especially as the restaurant was practically empty with only 3 other tables occupied. When our bill arrived, before it was even put on the table the waiter was asking cash or card standing at the table, rather than placing the bill on table and leaving for 5 minutes. We paid the tip which was included, however, it was not earned and we should have asked for this to be taken off. It was a shame some of the staff were not trained well, as won’t be returning.
