Food which can best be described as average, served tepid on luke warm plates. Inattentive grumpy waiter whom we had to ask several times for water and menus. When the wine was served the waiter could hardly open the bottle blaming it on the corkscrew, it was then sloshed into the glasses and on the table. This restaurant used to be fantastic, it is now a shabby, rather neglected relic of what it once was. The toilets were filthy the tables & chairs are chipped, worn or stained. All in all an unpleasant experience.

Had an excellent dinner here last night with my friend. The waiters and waitress were genuinely, exeptionally welcoming and friendly as well as efficient. I had the arancini and duck (Christmas menu) and my mate had the steak, both superb. Merry Christmas!

Had dinner after a visit to Science Museum. It was my wife, two sons (both under 4) service was perfect and really quick. Made a meal that could have been stressful very straightforward. Food was better than you would expect from a chain.

Food was dreadful. Pasta was served luke warm and tasted like rubber. Food used to be great but now, wouldn't recommend.

Pre RAH dinner. Couldn’t fault the service but two of us had burgers and they were burnt, lacked seasoning and if it wasn’t for the burnt bits tasteless. The accompanying chips had been reheated. Very disappointing and shan’t visit again.

My mum became unwell after eating the Carbonara, which is the main problem and the reason for the review score. In terms of the service, they served the kids' starters together with their main which was odd, but then had to wait quite a long time for their desserts. Not good enough for the price.

Food was poor quality and service slow. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere but not somewhere to go if you want a decent meal.

The restaurant was pretty average - not the type of experience one normally expects from carluccios. It was very busy. The customer service was ok but not great. My wife also had dreadful vomiting shortly unfortunately, not sure if food related.

We booked a table which wasn't ready when we arrived. The limes requested with one of our drinks were not bought out, one friend waited 25 minutes for a coffee. We requested advice on an allergen item and nobody came back to us, the waiter presumed a manager had come over.2 people ordered a steak to be told 20 minutes later they had run out.The kids dessert came out after we had paid the bill and were putting our coats on.....The waiter then had the cheek to ask why we asked for the auto added gratuity to be taken off!Whilst some food delivered was lovely this was ruined by the lack of customer service.

The restaurant is right across from the South Kensington station which is what drew us in. Had a lovely atmosphere and the service was rather impeccable, we were seated immediately and our wait staff was very attentive, gave wine recommendations and was very pleasant. My friend had the celeriac soup as starter and with a little salt and pepper, it was great. My appetizer was okay too. But the mains were downright disappointing. The steak didn't have much in flavour and it was served with fries that looked like £1.49 fries from McDonald's. There was no sauce to liven it up and had to pay for a mushroom sauce which wasn't much in taste either. My friend thought his confit duck was dry. We didn't bother to stay for dessert unfortunately.

Three ladies popped in for coffee and a snack. We were advised we’d have to leave by 1pm. We agreed of course. No service at all. Whilst the cafe was 1/8th full we sat for 15-20 minutes before we were served. Meanwhile a glut of staff unaware of their roles. Two individuals actually serving. No napkins, everything served individually we all started our snacks at different times. One young lady ensured my friend got her Canolis … otherwise you all need to focus on all staff working not swanning around!

One of the best places I have ever been. Me and a few friends came here for a birthday lunch and it was amazing. The server whose name I unfortunately did not get was incredibly welcoming and was very insightful in all dishes and even recommended some that would be best suited to a group of our size. The servers were so nice that they offered to take group photos of us when they noticed they were struggling and checked up on us every so often. The food was also amazing with the server giving a full ingredient list to one of my friends with allergies to make sure everything was okay. Food came out in a reasonable time and it looked and tastes amazing. It was such a wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Love it

I stumbled upon this restaurant near work, and it turned out to be a good find. Even though it gets pretty busy, I was surprised they managed to bring out orders relatively quickly. It'd be even nicer if they had more staff, especially during the lunch rush. The food is quite good, and they offer a nice variety. Overall, a convenient spot for a tasty meal, but they could use some extra help during busy times.

I went dining with my grandma and the whole dining experience was top!I also work in hospitality and I can say logistics were looking great, the service provided by our waitress Alyson, a Greek sir and the Manager Sandra was lovely. We both had the Christmas Set Menu, we got different starters to share and then we both ordered the Lobster & Crab Black Tortelloni and were just amazing, pasta was perfectly cooked with a a delicious fresh tomato sauce.Thank you S. Food was good. We arrived before the time we were booked for but they had a spare table. The bottle of wine had not been chilled so the waitress had to give us ice to put in our wine glasses. We offered house white but that was not that cold either.
