93-95 Old Brompton Rd, South Kensington, LondonWe went to this burger place as our first choice burger place had a long Q. Once we walked in all our hesitation was gone. Really friendly and super fast staff. The food was great, tasty and nicely displayed. The waitress came a few times then made sure all was ok or if we needed anything. It was definitely worth walking those 200 meters from the tourist.Kid-friendliness: There were many families with well behaved small children. And plenty of teenage kids.

Science Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Rooms (at The Ampersand Hotel)

Everything was explicitly explained and the food was delicious. Great selection of different Science experiments. Will highly recommend to others.Kid-friendliness: They had dinosaur or rocket stands for the children's afternoon tea.

117 Gloucester Rd, South Kensington, LondonHad a lovely meal at Nandos near Gloucester Station. A really lovely area of the city and the food and the service from the staff were great. Definitely recommend the mac' n cheese, yums! Kash and Vini went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location and their standout team.

Wife got the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich, said it was good as well. Service was slow but that was our entire experience in England & France. Daughter asked for a well-done burger and was told it would be 10 mins but it didn't actually take that long.Kid-friendliness: Portions were big so smaller kids could def share a meal

66 Old Brompton Rd, South Kensington, LondonNice little caffe, the staff were, so nice with us and extremely friendly. We had our 3 months old with us that needed a change. The caffe doesn't have toilets where we can change him, but the lovely staff offered us an area to change him out of the clients eye. I am very grateful for this lovely gesture.The caffe is relatively small, there are a few tables and a bar type area next to the window. We had some food that was nice and a lovely coffee. The place can get busier mid of the day. Will visit again when in the area.

106 Old Brompton Rd, South Kensington, LondonIt's always useful to know the location of petrol stations in urban locations, especially as so many seem to be closing down these days. This one is tucked away in the heart of South Kensington, between South Kensington shopping centre and the tube station and the Earl's Court section of Old Brompton Road. You'd never find it unless you knew it was there, as Old Brompton Road is hardly a major thoroughfare. It's not far from the south end of Gloucester Road, which leads directly to the main A4 (Cromwell Road). The site is what you could politely call compact (ie rather small) and if there's a queue it tends to back up onto Old Brompton Road. It has one of the small Shell 'Select' shops, selling a basic range of newspapers, food and drinks as well as motoring supplies.

Very reasonably priced options here, and friendly staff.I picked elements for an English breakfast, and it totalled in around about £5.Quality of the food was reasonable, although their drinks machine is stupidly over-technical (requiring Google pay or Apple pay, which first takes a deposit, then refunds based on what you select - absurd system).

81 Gloucester Rd, South Kensington, LondonAs tourists who had a hotel nearby, we often went to KFC and I can only recommend it. The service was very good and we helped when our payment methods were not accepted by the machine and the table service was also quick. The toilets and the general restaurant were well maintained and well cleaned. The climate in particular was very pleasant; it was not too warm, but not too cold either. So for anyone who loves KFC or wants to try it here, it is a clear recommendation.?Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes are a very good alternative to the normal range. Of course, there is a difference in taste, but it is so small that you can still enjoy the food as you would normally ☺️

Gallery Cafe
Exhibition Rd, South Kensington, LondonFor a free museum, I understand that a lot of things have to be compensated. We had a Coca-Cola here and it was quite pricy but the place was very big and had lots of seating options which was nice. The London Science Museum does have a lot of things to see but not many places to sit so I appreciated it when we walked past the gallery cafe and wanted to have a break from touring.

(Very yummy and fresh but salad dressing a bit salty.)I ordered the LUGANICA SAUSAGE & 'NDUJA FRILLY TAGLIATELLE…fabulous.We quickly finished every bite of everything! Natural History Museum (Green Zone, Cromwell Rd, South Kensington, LondonGreat place with good food and quick service. Recommend it to anyone visiting museum and have a pitstop there to recharge their energy. Would definitely visit again when having a tour with friends who hasn’t been there yet.

I’ve meeting a lot of the staff and they have the best attitude always. Bad thing, you can’t charge your devices there and you need to be aware of pickpockets. Amazing things, staff and club pret.

However, the cleanliness of the place was a major letdown. Almost all of the tables were dirty and sticky, which really took away from the overall atmosphere. It’s a stark contrast to the premium experience I’ve come to expect from Starbucks. In general, I think Starbucks is quite overrated, and this visit unfortunately confirmed that sentiment. Hoping to see better in the future!
