The food and service were great and everything was very delicious. Despite the restaurant being very busy with reservations, the staff still went out of their way to find a table for us. Amazing hospitality, we would happily come back again.

Science Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Rooms (at The Ampersand Hotel)

The staff were exemplary from the front door of the hotel to the drawing room where the afternoon tea is served. The small science experiment before the food was served was a touch of genius - even my teenager was on board with it! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a refill option too! So much food that we could not eat everything. The room was lovely with a great ambiance. Very tranquil. If I could put more stars I would - totally recommend it and for sure my family will return.

Byron - Old Brompton Rd.
93-95 Old Brompton Rd, South Kensington, LondonI've had Byron's delivered but not sat in one until today. Luckily there was a 2 for 1 offer on burgers so in we went. I had the Chilli burger and my friend had the Smokey. My fiend didn't like the buns not toasted but I wasn't fussed, my burger tasted nice, it too much Chilli and a good combination of ingredients. I tried a Byron's beer which was good Onion rings are very good, not chewy but crispy and fresh but eat while hot. We also had the tots which are basically has browns but served as little Balls which is a nice format but let down by the so-called cheese sauce which was runny and more milky with very little taste of cheese, it would've been blasted to serve up a blue cheese sauce, but for some strange reason they stopped doing it. Apart from all that quite pleasant Surroundings, a little bit of a noisy side but we're definitely come here again.

Mariana is worth a special mention. We received exceptional customer service from this experienced waitress.
Im not sure if waitresses/waitors are rewarded for their service, but this lady definitely deserves a bonus!

Exhibition Rd, South Kensington, LondonWas served by Sobia and had a drink made by Diamond, Sobia was very polite and patient with us while we made our mind up about what we were going to order which was very nice of her. Diamond; the barista was very knowledgeable with her drinks, she straight away knew what a dirty chai was, she also made on of the best dirty chai’s I’ve ever had ? It was really tasty and gave me tue pick me up I needed! She was also very friendly and kind making the whole experience extremely pleasant ??

Gallery Cafe
Exhibition Rd, South Kensington, LondonFor a free museum, I understand that a lot of things have to be compensated. We had a Coca-Cola here and it was quite pricy but the place was very big and had lots of seating options which was nice. The London Science Museum does have a lot of things to see but not many places to sit so I appreciated it when we walked past the gallery cafe and wanted to have a break from touring.

Just had a decaf espresso with cream here . Excellent coffee and excellent, prompt service from the staff. This little Starbucks is air conditioned and is conveniently located directly opposite to Gloucester Road Tube Station.

Natural History Museum (Green Zone, Cromwell Rd, South Kensington, LondonWe visited on the Sunday at the start of half term when it was chaotically busy. The team from the cashier to the chefs to the runners did an amazing job. Service was quick, food was good and staff were patient snd polite despite how busy it was. Grateful to have a reasonableish option for food in the middle of such an amazing museum. Grateful for the staff for making it a possibility ?♂️.
