Staff here is completely unpolite. I don't know how Imperial allows this

Food is great given the low price, can be hard to find a seat during lunch/dinner hours but that’s also normal. The biggest issue here is the clerks’ attitude - I usually dropped by for meals after lectures, and like some reviews mentioned some of them can be extremely rude. Today I asked, nicely, if I could get two chicken legs with a double price, and the woman seemed to not hear me talking at all, except for the dismissive and impatient look indicated she did. So I repeated my question and with an obvious eye rolling I got a second leg. While checking out I asked the cashier girl if I could get more salad since it’s only half the usual portion. The girl then stared at me for two seconds straight, frowned, before slowly reaching for the salad in silence. After a few more seconds I then get one small extra piece of cucumber and two thin slices of tomatoes, which I assumed was because the tongs were very slippery. ? Situations like this happened multiple times, mainly when I was ordering hot food, and very rarely I could get a smiley face. Didn’t bother to leave a comment before but I happened to have a bad mood today, so here we are :)

Displayed prices for coffee have nothing to do with the actual price you pay so don't even bother checking before purchase. Except some good ones, majority staffs tend to communicate with customers in a condescending manner. In certain situations, if a customer responds a bit loudly due to noisy and busy environment, they may be accused of mistreating staffs and be subjected to public shaming. Also saw Ratatouille star's Remy and his relatives jumping out of vending machines or running directly into the kitchen at daytime. Homeless people sometimes sleep here at night. Student here for about 2 years.

Popped in after reading another review mentioning the cafe is open to visitors. Very reasonably priced options here, and friendly staff.I picked elements for an English breakfast, and it totalled in around about £5.Quality of the food was reasonable, although their drinks machine is stupidly over-technical (requiring Google pay or Apple pay, which first takes a deposit, then refunds based on what you select - absurd system).

We came at 3:59 on Saturday and they refused to let us buy anything because they “close at 4”

After a day at the nearby museums, we stopped into this popular cafe to sit for a bit and get some refreshments. Definitely geared to students, but enjoyable nonetheless. Very busy in the afternoon/evening, but fun people watching.

Spacious, bright and airy. Dont need to be a student to use cafe or toilets. Reasonable coffee. Let me bring my bike inside. Prices have gone since I was a student though ?

The food quality is somewhere between Asda and Tescos

Bought espresso and asked for a lid for the cup since it’s raining outside. Been told no lid with her eyes rolling. Not the the first time being humiliated here.

My "Lunch meal" consisted of 3 of the thinnest ribs, equivalent in meat to not even 1 chicken leg. It also came with a heap of cold chips. This cafe is far too expensive at £4.71, for what I would call a stale light bite. I could buy a filling Pret sandwich next to a busy tube station for cheaper.

Good food for the price you're paying! Try out the breakfast if you are a breakfast person, they have a range of breakfast stuff you can choose from and it's very affordable. Portion is always huge for lunch too :)

2 years ago i wrote a really scathing review about how the library cafe smelled like sulphur and they messed up my coffee order so I had to a "bad reaction" during one my lectures. I would like to rectify this and say that the library cafe is the only thing holding me in place for my final year exams. I picked up their halloumi and falafel wrap today and it was absolutely scrumptious. Tender, fragrant, and with just enough spice for someone who can barely handle a hit of paprika. I love this place so much you have given me my life back. Also if you're a first year stop wearing those red lanyards around campus you look silly.

Good quality food for a reasonable price. A bit crowded at times.

I came here to get some work done in a quiet calm environment. This cafe is great for that. You can meet up with your friends to have a chat or spread out and knock out some major assignments. The area is also really peaceful as well so you can get in the zone. There are plenty of outlets too to charge your devices.
