Having grown up in Southall, for my dad's birthday I thought this would be the best place to visit again after a long time for a milestone birthday. Had high expectations for this place as ppl have raved about it. To be honest the food was average. The highly rated brilliant butter chicken was just average nothing special there and no flavour. We ordered a range of meat main dishes and again average seemed rushed and flavour was ok I guess. The meat itself did not seem fresh. Lamb chops were nice as one positive. Overall not that impressed, service was good but atmosphere again average. Brilliant not so Brilliant anymore.

I was excited after looking at the menu but the food didn’t deliver at all. Good service but very average food. Dal makhani very runny. The potato skins were not crispy at all and only three small half potatoes for £10. Much better options in Southall.

I dined here on Sunday and unfortunately it's not as good as what I remembered it to be several years back. My fav was the lambchop however jeera chicken was a let down, lots of bone, mushed up chicken, Butter chicken was average and the kebab was

We were a mixed party of adults and children and this was my restaurant of choice for a special occasion. I had wanted to go for ages after seeing Gulu and Dipna Anand on Saturday Kitchen. Finally I got to taste their food, it was fabulous. As there was a large group of us we opted for a set meal and left it in their expert hands. Oh my goodnes the taste was fantastic and the whole meal fabulous. It was surprising to see Gulu and Dipna actually very much in charge, they both looked fabulous and we were treated like royalty. A rare 5* award from me. It's a bit of a journey for us to get there but I hope to go again soon.

Amazing. I dined alone last Wed 27th Sept. Lovely greeting by the owner, very passionate about the food. I am indian and I could tell it is very authetic and real with fresh high quality food. The mixed grill is perfect, very juicy and plenty of food for 1 or even 2. Great service by the team, great ambience and the ebst food. I will def be back soon! Thanks Gary M (Ranjit)

as a passionate cook myself, i have been following you for a number of years in australia and finally got an opportunity to come dine at your restaurant. We tried your signature butter chicken amongst other dishes however was dissapointed at the taste as we could taste the rawness of the tomatoes in the sauce and it was the dominant flavour. Having had butter chicken across the world, this was not what i was expecting and hoping this was an off day for the chef but some quality control could've picked it up.

Haven't been here in a good 10 years and back then the food was amazing, indian cuisine is one of my favourite foods to eat and I thought I'd come back and give this old gem a try again, but I wasn't the best impressed, don't get me wrong food is edible no problem with it just I've had a lot better.Ordered mixed grill, the chicken tikka on the mixed grill was hands down 10/10, prawns were a 8/10 but the chops were way too fatty and they've changed the sheek kebab they are a lot thinner and less flavoursome as before and it also didn't come served on a hot plate with caramelised onions.Mains I had a butter chicken as back in the day this was the signature dish to have here and its still a good butter chicken, what this establishment has got right here is how to cook their chicken. The butter naan my wife had was nice and the roomali roti I had was nice and thin but way too crispy. But to summarise - food is ok not amazing, don't order a mixed grill just get some chicken tikka and prawns as the kebab and lamb chops wernt all that.As for mains you should be ok its still got authentic taste but yet again I've had a lot better in indian/Kenyan establishments in North London

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in London . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The Punjabi food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Indian restaurant , highly recommend!

Brilliant - most enjoyableWe travelled from Northamptonshire to dine here via East London where we picked up our daughter so it was a bit of a trek! That said, we absolutely were not disappointed. We were greeted as friends when they remembered my emailing re parking. The waiter was very helpful in describing the dishes and sensibly discouraged us from over ordering. The rice for one was more than adequate for the three of us. The mixed grill starter, after popadoms and pickles (which were sublime and plentiful) was superb. We each had a curry and my wife and daughter shared. My Karahi prawn was too good to share! The nan bread was delicious and so much better than the half inch thick doughy breads in some places. First rate authentic food. After dinner, Mr Anand came into the restaurant as we were leaving. We had a very pleasant conversation and bought the cook books which he kindly signed. All in all a very good meal and pleasant experience that we will repeat. Thanks for a lovely evening

Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with some family. Was politely and quickly greeted. The staff served quickly and offered to ask for anything more. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Had the paneer sizzler for starters, then some main dishes and naan, then finished off with desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed it all, and will be visiting again. For a even better experience, I think it would be nice to offer pickles alongside the mains.

Went to this restaurant after few years to celebrate anniversary. Really disappointed with star dish that this restaurant became famous for their butter chicken starter. This was over salted & full of red colour & watery when it should be dry and very little taste of butter masked by over salt. Also the portion sizes have reduced with prices up & removed extras like pickles & little touches all out - cost of living so pass the costs to the customers! The atmosphere was noisy! Not Brilliant.

I have been going brilliant restaurant for 30 years and I went today with my family and quality of food has gone done. Their butter chicken used to be the best - however it was watery full of red colour with extra salt & not what it used to be. I provided feedback and the manager was not much interested! Shame and it will not be on my list and I would not recommend this place anymore.
