I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the outside (being used to expensive restaurants). The food came in good time. My wife and I had a Masala Dosa each. OMG it was so good, I am always nervous introducing my wife to a new restaurant as she is a master chef and managed a successful Indian catering business. We usually have one dosa each but we could have shared this one. A proper portion of sambar and chutneys. Highly recommend the dosa, the best we have tasted in Southall so far. Potato filling was good. Never estimate these small places, it’s the hand of the chef, not the restaurant. 100% recommend. We will be visiting again next time we go to Southall. Go and try for yourself.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian menu

We were very much looking forward to having tandoori aloo kulcha but instead received undercooked aloo paratha made on tava. The restaurant does not seem to know the difference between kulcha and paratha. The rotis were also undercooked. However, if you cannot cook a simple roti properly, what hope can you have for anything else? We came from along away and it was unfortunate that out of all the restaurants we could have ordered from we chose one which was a chor. Please save your hard earned money and choose another place to eat.

This is a true hole in the wall ; went looking for good Punjabi food and was pleased. Lajawab parantha is a house special and it's stuffing was very well done. We got mushroom masala which was fresh and the mushrooms were aplenty. Friendly family atmosphere, not very big and was constantly full.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian ?

First of all the service, no one acknowledged the fact we had just sat down, had to order at the counter, waited for 20minutes, the waitress walked pass with our order, checked the next table, not there paratha, shouted to confirm staff to confirm what paratha it was, then flung this to our table and walked away, I had to remind them about water request, then the main meal came over, which was chola puri, as eating this, felt a hair in my mouth, informed the lady over the counter, who said will get fresh new one, a other lady came over and asked where the hair came from, told them in the chola sabage, she took it away and bought the same dish back and accused me of lying, I have never in my life been so insulted, never got a fresh plate and just left the meal on the table, at the till I expressed my concerns, still adamant to charge full price of meal that I didn’t even finished ,this is not about the money but the food and service. I hope the owner reads this and feels ashamed on how staff are treating customers, definitely never going there again and will never recommend ?

The atmosphere was good. The place is spacious. The service was quick. We ordered a gobhi parantha and it was good. Could have been better. It was low on salt but the achaar made it fine to eat.

We were soo disappointed by their food and service. Samosas and bread pakora were RAW inside. you could taste raw gram flour. Masala chai was a disaster too. The ladies managing were extremely unprofessional. Skip this place

The food is really good for the price we pay and so is the service. The staff helps you select the best dish according to your taste.

I’ve visited this place a number of times. The first time I went, I noticed the staff are all Goans, so I was nervous ordering Punjabi paranthas. But they definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff are polite, not overly welcoming but always polite. Service is speedy. Their sweets/mithai is always fresh and sometimes I only go to get mithai. I have also taken my own hot case to get the paranthas packed in and they’re always accommodating. I don’t like chai there and chaat is okay but you can’t go wrong with paranthas.

i ordered a schewan noodles for takeaway and opened the box to find disappointment. The noodles dont have any sauce, not spicy at all. they add red color to make it look like spicy and didn't bother to mix it through. my first time experience to the restaurant is the worse one ever.

Our favourite Indian restaurant in London - we travel from Stanmore to Southall especially! Absolutely delicious & wonderfully spiced at a good price! Can’t recommend enough :)

Great vegetarian indian food that I like to visit every once in a while. Friendly staff and great variety for North Indian. Point of improvement- sometimes feel the cleanliness is not up to the mark.Vegetarian options: Indian vegetarian. Not many vegan options.
