Great place for some authentic Kenyan food! A family run restaurant, with the most delicious food. We had masala chips, mogo and mixed grill, all cooked to perfection.Best washed down with special vimto or passion juice! If you are looking for East African specialities, do give it a try!

Food was proper East African cuisine . Everything made fresh . Slightly pricey but worth it . Service I felt was slow . Requested for tea with starters . Tea was served with main course 40 mins later ( we had just come back from umrah just needed tea before food ) . Overall very tasty food .

I love the food here it's so fresh and tasty they only thing is the hygiene rating is 1 which was a shock hopefully they can improve on this.

I visited this place after 12 years! The interior has been updated, but the food was exactly how I remembered it - delicious!
We went to Nargis after being recommended by a friend.Nargis offers up a unique subset of food specifically East African indian food. You are quickly made aware of this with the Kenyan decor inside. We went around 3pm and got a table with no issues. Nargis offers up a no frills experience which is 100% focused on the food. The mixed grill and the chips were amazing. Everything packed a good punch and I could tell was catered to a Indian palate! The service was limited as you order from the counter and the decor and atmosphere are dated. It is in the need for some modernisation also if vegetarian/ vegan there are limited optionsDefinitely worth stopping by if in the area!

You cannot beat Nargis. Nothing here is comparable to any other restaurant that serves East African cuisine. The welcome, the service and the taste is just too good.Vegetarian options: There is plenty to choose fromKid-friendliness: The place is for everyoneWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible

nice little resrurant, staff and owner is great and resturant is clean. Also there vegie somosas and pokoray and masala chips was nice and also Masala tea. I didn't really like keebabs and chicken found it bit hard wasnt tender. Also there falooda is good and paans.Unfortunatly parking was an issue if you lucky you can park right outside few spaces.

Good service, good food at a fair price. It's a Kenyan eatery, something different from your normal run of the mill curry houses.

Very good service and polite people . The only issue is that I thought Kenyan means black African not Asian . The food is not Authentic African food so forget that African taste you won't get it from this Asian shop .
Excellent food that takes you back to
