It was very disappointing Sunday evening. We entered in the restaurant after checking reviews as there were plenty of other restaurants on the same streets. I have doubt on the reviews.Very first no one there to assist. The service was so poor and unprofessional which makes you feel so uncomfortable. We just quickly wanted to eat and get out of the place so order just mains - Spice village special Nihari I’m sorry but it was tasteless , homemade Nihari is much better. It came so cold just the serving pot was warm and when we requested to serve warm , he refused by saying it’s already warm. Biryani was average , not authentic taste.I would say only good thing was Naan. I would never go back this place. Food & Service both need to be improve a lot. Lastly a person to whom we paid has no reaction , no smile or no thanks ?Horrible ☹️

We recently dined at Spice Village restaurant in Southall, London. The place was busy, but we got a seat fast, and the service was good. We ordered Afghani chicken, saag paneer, onion kulcha, naan, and popodums. Big portions, enough for two. Prices were fair, and the onion kulcha was yummy. I highly recommend it for good food and not too expensive.

Nice food. Reasonable prices. Mostly busy and sometimes you have to wait up to an hour.

Very slow to seat us though many tables were available. Good food and pleasant service. Halal means no alcohol!

We came back after a year and ordered all our Usuals and the starters were spot on. When we got to the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala, it was like eating curry powder paste. The dishes didn't look the same and most definitely didn't have an acceptable flavour. We asked them change one which they did but a defo waste. I wouldn't like to again for mains but would recommend the seekh kebabs and chicken tikka. The masala fish was oily and wet inside which took the texture away.

Food was very obviously reheated and bland, even the freshly cooked Charsi chicken was bland even though requested spicey, the mixed grill was all reheated and chicken tikka pieces were dry, haleem was bland, masala fish was soggy. Biryani was also bland and even though we requested chicken tikka biryani we were given normal chicken? And the service was poor from the staff we had to wait for 10 minutes to order and even when we requested water and being told this is coming it didn't come until we asked for the 4th time. This branch needs to learn from their branch in Tooting who always go above and beyond and have amazing food.

We came for a dinner with family and we ask for table in the corner the supervisor lied and said that the other table is reserved and we was in the restaurant for 2 hours and no customer came at that table.Food order was delayed and we have to keep reminding the staff. The lady serving us have no smile on face and she was just standing and bringing things and putting on the table rudely.

Spice Village offers a mixed experience. While their Charsi chicken karahi didn’t quite match the authentic taste I was expecting, and the Brain masala was just okay, earning the food a 3-star rating, their service deserves a solid 5 stars—prompt, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere also garners 5 stars, creating a delightful dining ambiance. Despite the food falling a bit short in taste, the excellent service and inviting atmosphere make Spice Village a pleasant place for a meal.

Really nice restaurant in Southall. Perfect for a meal after shopping. No reservations needed, the restaurant is busy for walk ins but there are plenty of seats. We were served quickly and the food was fresh. We had the chicken biryani, chicken jalfrezi, dynamite prawns and chapli kebab. The food tasted really good especially the jalfrezi. Nice and spicy and tastes like authentic Pakistani food

Spice village located in Southhall is a typical Pakistani hotel and has a décor worth noting. Crowds were waiting outside which showed the popularity of this spot. Since we had reservations entry was a smooth affair. We ordered lamb biriyani, Butter chicken Alutikki Chat, chicken tikka and vegetable biriyani for my wife. Biriyani was excellent with proper amount of spices and good quality rice. Butter chicken was not up to the mark and I felt it bit sweet. Service was good though they had a good crowd. Prices were in the range of 8-9 pounds for most of the items.
