Located in Kingston upon Thames, Poor Boys is the go-to spot for delicious chicken dishes. With a menu full of flavorful options, from classic fried chicken to juicy grilled pieces, there's something for everyone.Their fried chicken is crispy outside, tender inside, and bursting with flavor. And if you prefer something lighter, their grilled chicken is just as tasty.Service is always friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. So, if you're craving mouthwatering chicken and great service, head to Poor Boys for a satisfying meal.

Me and the lads came all the way from Wolves to feast at Poor Boys. We saw the ad online with the dipping sauce and burgers and it looked fantastic. Booked a day off work and made the 400 miles round drip.We found the experience poor overall The fried chicken on selection was quite bland. We expected more flavour. It was just like regular fried chicken. As the location is on a small canal, when we first entered and took a seat. There was a tiny fly problem. They were everywhere inside the eating area close to entrance. Once we moved further back into the restaurant, this problem was resolved. The service was good. We felt very welcome once we arrived. The decorations felt like i was on an old type of wooden shack which was cool.

A trip to Poor Boys is a must if you want to try something a bit different. The food is deliciously rich, and the portions are much bigger than the average. We have visited a few times, and the service and food have been very consistent. Friendly servers and mouth-watering dishes that emerge from the kitchens. Also, do try their frozen cocktails, again something a bit different but really refreshing on a warm day. We have tried a bit of everything on the menu and will definitely be going back for more! The only advice I would give before visiting is that they don't accept bookings, so try and get there early or be prepared to wait as there is always a queue, but it is all worth the experience.

Me and my partner have been coming here for years. They never miss. The food is outstanding and they go the extra mile with their service. Always accommodating, fun and friendly. Have recommended poor boys to our families and it is now a big hit in households! Special shoutout to Charlie who always goes above and beyond.

Maria was an excellent waitress with very good attention and skills. Additionally, the gent with the haircut and blue hoodie looked like a charlie went out of his way to help us out. Very good time.

This place gets busy, had to queue before it even opened. Food arrived pretty quick considering everyone placed an order at the same time.We had the surf&turf platter, slaw and chicken skin (for 2ppl) The platter was tasty and fresh, generous calamari and shrimp portions. Soft shell crab was nice as was the brisket and fatty burnt ends. Easily feed 3/4 ppl. Had to do takeout. The chicken skin was not great, laced with lots of msg seasoning not that nice. Will return for the side dishes next time. With more ppl!!
