Ordered deliveroo. Said max half hour. Still not here 2 hours later and still accepting orders to be delivered max half hour. Then get a call from Deliveroo to say restaurant closed and order cancelled. Never again

Although the sushi (was) great, there is always something with Taberu. You order, pay, they call you that they don’t have 75% of the items. So you will wait now 10 for the refund (+£50). If not that, than they deliver sushi for 4 people (+£70) with two tiny packs of soy sause and 2 artificial wasabi! I mean this is a main part of the sushi experience. So unfortunately, that’s it for me, never again, after 7 ordered at Taberu, I need a new sushi place.

I just ordered from just eats and I’ve never received my order. I just reported it to the website and I kept calling their number and they still haven’t picked upUpdate: they’re a bunch of scammers ! They accepted my order pretending they were open but they were actually closed . Pack of thieves. Worst part is is that they assigned a driver knowing no one would come. Horrible business dishonest and pack of liars and theives . I’m owed a refund and reported it to this just eats website.

What a strange experience. Popped in with my daughters yesterday evening after spotting they were doing 20% off for dine-in. We'd had takeaway before and enjoyed it, although felt it was a little overpriced. Looks inviting from outside - clean, contemporary interior, tastefully decorated with artificial cherry blossom around the lighting. We should have looked more closely at the other couple of diners - we would have noticed they still had their coats and gloves on. It was freezing! We probably should have left, but decided to stay because the menu options looked good. It was completely silent in the restaurant and deserted, apart from a nervous looking boy who occasionally appeared to hand over takeaways and looked bewildered whenever we asked for anything (like soy sauce to go with our sushi). He said that he thought the heating was broken and then disappeared again, but I wonder if they simply can't afford to have it on. The food arrived and wasn't bad, although the Katsu chicken bao buns were a bit disappointing. We had a laugh about it, but I'm not sure I've ever eaten anywhere so completely lacking in basic customer care - order and pay via app, sit and freeze while you eat, and basically be completely ignored from the point you walk in to the point you leave. Pity because a little effort from the owners could transform the experience.

The portion size compared to the price… shocking!Our Bento boxes were a good size and deal, but Salt and Pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken! Salt and pepper chips we could count about 20 chips! Chicken about 10-15 cubes

Used to be amazing. Food has gone crazy downhill recently. Ramen with no vegetables isn't ramen. Katsu Curry no longer same flavour and has no additions anymore in vegetables.Didn't even package it properly and it arrived spilled everywhere in bag.A real shame because this place used to be great. Must be under new management.

We have been regular clients for nearly 2 years, but we have decided to not order or dine in here ever again!!! PLEASE DO NOT EAT THERE!The last time we had dinner at the restaurant and the last delivery home we did were absolutely unacceptable. The quality of the meals is very poor compared to before. They’re serving way less quantity than before - ridiculous amounts for what you pay. And the dishes are missing most of their ingredientes. This has happened to me the last two times I ate there. The last soup I ordered was meant to have loads of ingredients (eggs, Narutomaki, Walmart, etc). I know because I had it many times in the past. However today the soup was just noodles, chicken and broth. Nothing else!!!The customer service at the restaurant is terrible. They leave you unattended and you have to keep calling them from the corridor. The guys who work there never have a clue of anything. Also, the restaurant lacks hygiene, the tables are greasy, the cutlery is dirty. Disgusting!And this time that I complained over the phone about the lack of ingredients in the soup, the lady was really not bothered about it and was not apologising at all. So rude! I requested a refund for the lack of ingredients in the soup and the fact that the other dish was just half of what it is usually and she said she could only refund for the soup. I hope I do get it though, because it’s really annoying to be treated this way.I made it clear to her that THEY’VE LOST CLIENTS as we’re not going back ever again and will tell our friends then same. The lady didn’t really mind this comment though… Hope management does something about it!

Food are not delicious as before , and even worse is the rice is cold with Bento and the soup of Ramen is salty and not hot, menu is not updated while two things ordered but eventually they cannot deliver. Have been eating a few times before that this was a good restaurant and food was awesome . Now they put 20% off notice but asked you to order online without 20% off , you won’t see the waiter until they deliver the dishes , so be prepared to help yourself to get utensils, cups , water, sauces yourself. I don’t recommend to go as I won’t go again , so disappointed to lose a once good Japanese restaurant .

Just had a delivery for £60, the order had 5 items missing eventhough they were ticked on the receipt! The food it self was very poor. The cartons were only half full and the majority of the food was so bland I had to add soy sauce to get any flavour what so ever. Part of the order was luke warm. When I rang to complain the man on the end of the phone couldn't care less and half way through my complaint he hang up!!. I have had food from here before and to be fair it has been ok, but after tonight's tasteless effort I will not be ordering again and I advise others not to either. Owners, if you read this feel free to ring me and apologise for the rudeness of your staff and allow me to fully explain how bad this meal was.
