Went with a group of work colleagues I had a Smokehouse burger which was tasty and good size. Other colleagues enjoyed there burgers and ribs. Excellent choice of Ale and ciders on tap. Service was good and not over the top expensive either

Always 5 star.We usually go in as a couple and our small dog Margo who’s still young. I want to mention how welcoming and great the staff are to us and Margo who is still a young pup which makes it our favourite pub.Food is always excellent, whether that be roast dinners (which portion sizes make it such great value) burgers or snacks and the drinks are always fab!! Thank you!

Great pub. Superb range of beers and ciders (about 15 cask and 20 keg). Good food menu.

Eva is quite frankly amazing. Helpful. Fun. Courteous. She has a smile on her face at all times. Her shift supervisor on the evening of Thursday 14th December, not so much.

Lovely restful afternoon - great Christmasy atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty snack plates- we enjoy a quick lunch before starting our Christmas shopping! Just what we needed- well worth a visit ?

Very welcoming, friendly pub. Servers were friendly and had a good range of non alcoholic beers.

It really galls me to give such a bad review but one of the best pubs in Kingston has become one of the worst. The food is AWFUL.We went 2 weeks ago and my chicken burger (an old favourite) was terrible - they had battered the chicken like it was a piece of fish. Th me max and cheese had been made with big pasta like rigatoni, the sauce was watery and the top burnt.Hoping it was a one-off, we went tonight and ordered a “normal” double-cheeseburger. There was only a single patty in the burger and it was tiny. We complained and the excuse was “they had a different butcher and the burgers were twice the size”. I’m sorry but it was quite clearly a single, small patty and totally unacceptable that the wait staff lied when they could have just said they were low on burgers. We ended up sending it back which meant we went hungry and the pub lost money so no-one wins.I love a great pub and have been here for many years, so it really does sadden me that I have to recommend people don’t come here any more. The pub needs to either look itself in the mirror as it’s not currently deserving of customers money.

This is otherwise a great pub but the food has recently gone downhill and the chef is stupidly stubborn. Ordered double cheeseburgers this evening which turned up with only a tiny single patty - and despite being obviously misadvertised, the chef refused to accept that a single small burger patty was not the same as a double. Clearly maths not their strong suit and we ended up returning the meal rather than finding a happy middleground, a lose-lose situation which we would rather have avoided. Also ordered a side of chicken wings with a blue cheese sauce - which turned out not to be blue cheese but nothing more than mayo. The food here used to be good, but my last couple of visits have been so disappointing. I get that these are tough times for everyone and the pub may be making some cutbacks, but I’d be ok with it if the menu actually reflected the reality of the food being served - unfortunately at the moment, it doesn’t.

Great beer, with a huge selection of ales on tap, lovely staff who are extremely helpful, food was really good and plentiful. Wish I lived nearby!

We booked a 5:00 pm Sunday roast at the Albion for after our visit to Hampton Court Palace based on online reviews. We had visited Kingston Upon Thames before as a little break from the middle of London and enjoyed it, and we also figured that we’d be eating with locals versus a bunch of tourists like us. We really liked it! One of us had the half chicken roast and one of us had the trio of meats roast, which were all tasty, especially with the added sauces. The accompaniments were really good (mmm, cauliflower cheese…) and we appreciated all the veggies. We got there a bit earlier than our reservation so had a chance to enjoy a cider and a chat with the local gent sitting next to us before our table was ready. As expected, at dinner we were surrounded by extended families (and a couple doggies hanging out by their owners' feet) enjoying their Sunday roasts, which was delightful. (As a side note, you order food at the bar vs waiting for a server to come and take your order.) All in all we had an awesome time and an excellent pub meal, and we would highly recommend the Albion.

Outstanding choice of beer. Enthusiastic and engaging staff. Lovely bright windows. A real quality pub, very glad I discovered it.
