Went in for a roast with the family couple Sundays back. Was served by the manager Alex who was lovely and looked after us all afternoon. Ordered two roast chickens with pigs and blankets and a kids fish and chips. Unfortunately after paying was Informed that they had no pigs and blankets left. Was offered a couple of drinks and something else from the menu with no hastle at all. Food portions could have been bigger but the service was great ?

Had a family get together for Sunday lunch and this was in walking distance of my daughter’s house. The pub is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere was very inviting. Lunch was delicious as were the puddings. I really hoped they would have apple crumble and their pear crumble was sold out and they had replaced it with apple! I was very happy. Will go again definitely.

We arrived for a family celebration at 12 and were greeted with a smile. Nothing was too much bother, cranberry juice suggested for granddaughters request for watermelon juice. A jug of water for the flowers. Excellent info on what was available and if not now when. Good selection of drinks as well.A lovely lunch at a great place

My go-to pub for a Sunday roast in Kingston. Beautiful interiors and a very relaxed atmosphere. It took a bit for the waiter to take our order, but after that, everything went smoothly. The food is of high quality and perfectly cooked. My partner and I had the anchovies as a starter and pork belly and beef roasts which were delicious. Just a little note on the gravy; I found it a bit watery, not as good as usual, but that's something small.

Lovely place. Went there for the traditional Sunday roast and was not disappointed at all. The food was excellent and the people very nice. Definitely recommend!

Very welcoming pub, lovely decor and the perfect place to have celebrated my birthday and with our puppy. They gave us a water bowl and dog treats for our pup, the food was delicious and the service really accommodating and personable. Will definitely come back with our pup!

We came to have a Sunday roast this afternoon. Although the food was delicious, the portion sizes were tiny! It was the smallest roast dinner I have ever had and was no way near worth the £21.50. I explained this to one of the waiter and he was very apologetic and offered us dessert free of charge. Unfortunately there was nothing that we liked on the dessert menu so the waiter kindly took some money off the bill. Unfortunately, we still left hungry and had to have a 2nd lunch elsewhere.

Everything about this pub is amazing. Good food, nice atmosphere, breautiful terrace, friendly service, what’s not to like? We had multiple birthday celebrations there with a large group of friends and each time we had a great experience so we kept going back.

The service here was great. Food was also top notch. We sat outside, which was lovely. My sister had some mocktails and really rated them!

Disappointing, and we would really like this pub to be great again. For a Friday night the restaurant area was virtually empty - one large party and two other tables. This augured badly. The food - baked hake and Nicoise salad - was a heated up fillet of fish on an undressed salad. It wasn’t very good. Service was great.

This pub used to have one of the best Sunday roast. I haven’t been there for 10-11 months and went there again yesterday. It took about an hour to bring the dishes out, and what we got was disappointing. The portions used to be huge but this time we got a piece of meat, 3 potatoes, 1 carrot, 2 pieces of broccoli and a pudding. We left the pub very disappointed and hungry. Not happy for what I paid ££££

It was a delicious dinner and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The food was creative and unexpected. The staff were lovely and didn’t mind that we stayed for hours with friends we hadn’t seen in years.Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and dairy free. The menu was well designed and there were plenty of options. And the food was creative and delicious.

Lovely local pub which has a really nice restaurant too. The food is great, with a good selection of items. It’s evident that they have made considered choices about products.Vegetarian options: Good range of options for non meat eatersKid-friendliness: Not trialled yet with our kids but I think that it would be feasible.
