Booked a lovely hut to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday, we had a great evening and the staff were very helpful, just found the food to be bland.Wheelchair accessibility: My mum could easily access with her walker

Great for a drink and food! And nice pub garden!

The staff were considerate, kind and helpful; all my requests were done timely and to satisfaction. The food was plentiful, good and the presentation lovely. We ordered platters, from cheese, burgers (including vegetarian option) fish etc. Additional requests were accommodated i.e salad etc.The space was more than adequate; seating set up as requested and plenty of natural light; plenty of space to mingle.I am grate to the Castle is enabling a good farewell to my Vincenzo.Vegetarian options: This was available and requests accommodated where possible

The pub interior is lovely with a good atmosphere. But the steak sandwich was just awful! For £10 would have expected more than what was just essentially for slices of bread with horseradish and the smallest bits of steak.. and no sides either.

A large, lively pub with decent food and a good selection of beers. Service was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our lunch here before heading off to the rugby at London Broncos.

The waitress working in the restaurant couldn't have done any more. Very attentive and made sure we enjoyed a lovely meal. Food was really nice and the decor in the restaurant is beautiful.

This is a nice establishment with a great beer garden. We have been here many times. I have to ask, how can the establishment book a table we are already sat at? We have sat at our table for an hour, a table that was not booked by anyone. We were suddenly told someone had booked the table (obviously over the phone) so we now have to leave the table soon. No words, so wrong!! How can you book a table that is already taken? Disappointing and not the way to keep repeat customers!Your bar staff are great, your rating is based on someone booking out a table we already occupy!
Have lived in the Tooting/Mitcham area all my life, was out with a friend and visited The Castle. It bears no similarity to the pub I fell out of many times 1970's . However the bar staff were charming, we had cocktails ?, not a Ram and Special of yrs ago. Will deffo visit again ?

Delicious fish taco and amazing scotch egg. I had a great laugh with the lady behind the bar; truly brighten my day.
