Dawat is a family favourite and I have been a regular there over many years, I've taken a lot of my friends and my now husband (who has also become a regular) and they all love the food. This is a wonderful, authentic Mughal food experience. The restaurant is a premium experience with luxury surroundings. The service is exceptionally quick, which is great if you're hungry. Get the staff to read back your order as they got two dishes mixed up. However, they quickly rectified this with no fuss. You can expect to pay much more for this experience in restaurants that do not meet the quality and authenticity of this experience. Fantastic value for money and service.
I came here for the first time with my brother on Friday evening - we usually go to the Norbury branch which we absolutely love. My first impression was that this was a busy location, with customers sitting inside to eat and others queuing to take away.
