We went to Atithi for a quick bite before an international rugby match. The food was excellent the service was fast and efficient and friendly. The atmosphere very good, all of the patrons were going to the match. My only grip is the portions were a little on the small side.

Delicious food!Perfect for Indian cuisine.We ordered hara bhara kebab- it was the best starter I had in York ever. In main we ordered dal makhni, dal tarka, paneer butter masala with onion kulcha, tandoori roti and jeera rice.My mother loved the onion kulcha a lot.Honestly, everything was so delicious and my family was so happy. Staff was very polite and professional. I really liked the interior and atmosphere.Gulabjamun was super soft and fresh.I'd definitely recommend it for whoever wants to have a delicious Indian meal in York.Amazing view, nice atmosphere and delicious food.Vegetarian options: Hara bhara kebab
Actually this is a review of the food we got from Atithi as take-away. I had 3 hungry lads and not much food in the house so ordering in from Atithi seemed a popular plan. I was delighted with our food; it was really lovely and scrumptious and we polished off everything. It wasn't too expensive either and they threw in two bottles of beer into the bargain. Plus they came on time, and they helpfully wrote on the take-away cartons what each item was. I will use them now as our default take-away option. Absolute top marks, Atithi! We will come and dine with you as well some day soon.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Atithi. We were about 30 people, and had booked the whole restaurant for the party. Sachin and his team did an excellent job with the food and service. The service was fantastic, the team made sure that each guest was looked after, for drinks and for food. The food was absolutely yummy, and our friends loved everything about the restaurant. Thank you Sachin and team for making the event so memorable!
