Family visit on recommendation and didn’t disappoint! Up market ambience , attentive friendly staff and owner. Extensive wine list to accompany some extremely tasty dishes. The style is to serve with not a lot of sauce- worth knowing - so could be a bit dry depending on what order.

An absolute neighbourhood gem, find myself missing it enormously if it’s ever closed. Delicious, healthy food, the owners are lovely, always create a warm, friendly atmosphere. The desserts are top-notch and varied. Also a great playlist.

Lovely pub with an old school atmosphere…locals are friendly and excellent food with football shown daily. Friendly bar staff who are always ready to bring over drinks while eating. The landlord is a great chef, our T-bone steaks were fantastic and landlady…she’s hilarious!!!!

Visit quite often with family, have a favourite table. As a lifelong lover of Indian food, this place cannot be faulted. Excellent, healthy food options both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, the new menu just in after the renovations is also lovely (especially the coconut and mango naan — incredible). Great cooking and cocktails and service from Juvella and Syed. Good ambience and music as well, whatever playlist this is, it’s unforgettable. Will be back soon!

What a great pub and dining rooms.Babs, James and their team make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and I have say the food is superb. The atmosphere is very friendly and a trip to the Albany is always I pleasure. Service and atmosphere were great and location was a little spot near the green. We got the poppadums which were lovely- chutney were interesting but could have had more flavour. We got lamb chops, sheekh kebab and pani puri to start which were good but just needed more flavour and a sauce. We got the butter chicken and lamb korai for mains which were both good- I enjoyed how sweet the butter chicken was. We got garlic naan and rice which were both great accompaniments. We booked through the Fork and our bill was around £35 which is very good value.

Ordered a chicken salad. When it came to the table the dish consisted of mainly stressed lettuce with a chicken burger fried far too long so it was too crispy to eat. For £13.95 not good value for money. I also had to ask for the dressing because it was so dry. My friend ordered the macaroni cheese. That came in a tiny oval bowl with a tiny bit of salad at the side. Again not good value for money.

The best mussels I've had locally! so good, we went back again and ordered the exact same thing the next week! recommend the double cream, and the seafood starter is lovely! An absolute hidden gem of Twickenham. Family owned, the owner is the chef, the don kitchen is within the restaurant, so you can watch Chef cooking every meal from scratch. Really authentic Italian, loved every minute of our experience, really friendly waiters , chef comes out to check everything is okay with the meals, small menu, but once sat down, we found at least four or five specials on the board. I had the aubergine starter and pasta from the special board - Absolutely beautiful.. The pizzas looked absolutely amazing as they were coming out. If you’re in the area and you haven’t tried this restaurant, please do pop along and savour really comfortable meal in a friendly setting with incredible food. This restaurant does close at 10, so arrival at least a couple of hours before. Really enjoy your experience. Can’t wait to return.

Great cafe. Best omelettes and breakfasts in Whitton and Twickenham. All cooked to perfection and service with a smile. Really good place for kids, but avoid weekday early mornings, where there are lots of workers eating breakfast, the language can be a bit ripe if you’re taking kids. We time our visit around that. After school visits for milkshake and fries are great too. Really lovely staff.
