Absolutely incredible meal at Little Mumbai tonight. I tried an item on their new menu item — the Chicken Chops ( not sure of correct name) — and it was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The chicken was perfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and beautifully spiced without overpowering the dish.

The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was spot on as always. Little Mumbai keeps raising the bar — highly recommend trying the Chicken Chops while they’re on the menu. I’ll definitely be back for them again.

It was incredible. Certainly my favourite sushi spot in Twickenham. It is significantly much more authentic than its alternatives. The prices are reasonable and fairly low. Chicken karaage was crispy and juicy in the inside. The dragon roll was very good the eel was extremely soft with a nice taste and aroma. The only improvement can be done by changing the wasabi as it was not that high quality. They nigiri’s were fresh and tasty and the service was good. Definitely worth going. I will come again.

They placed us into a quiet area - a nice airy space - and they were in touch to collect our orders in advance so when we arrived the team were ready for us
Service was good and the food was superb - we had a good cross section of food - salmon fillet, hunters chicken, steak and ale pie, mushroom wellington, fish and chips, gammon steak - gluten free (my son is gluten intolerance and the team were knowledgeable and helpful)

Such an amazing find!!
We live around the corner and our neighbour told us ‘A Cena is Stanley Tucci’s favourite restaurant outside of Italy’.
Now… we aren’t sure if that’s true, but I wouldn’t at all be shocked if it was! It’s lovely, with a beautiful setting, friendly staff, amazing drinks you can’t go wrong.
But the food, it’s incredible. Authentic Italian food, and not just shed loads of pasta- real Italian food. Although their pasta is also delicious.
The tiger prawns are my go to! The sea bass if amazing, the beef shin ragu…. The list goes on!

Try this restaurant, you won’t regret it!

The bar staff were attentive, efficient and pleasant. A very rare treat to enjoy a pub roast for us, we weren't disappointed. We spent a pleasant Sunday arvo with the family in the beer garden. The roast dinner was amazing,, more than plenty to eat. Just about found space for a sweet. All a really pleasant experience. An asset to Twickenham. Thank you AJ your roasts they are as delicious your pies.

We were immediately impressed with the quality, nice light batter and good standard for all the items on the platters. For mains we tried a variety of dishes, from traditional Pad Thai, Minced Chicken with Chilli & Thai Basil to a couple of more unusual dishes, Slow cooked Pork Belly and Lamb Massaman Roti. All of the food was great, better than the last couple of visits to other Thai restaurants, will be going back to try more. For starters, mains and a huge Chang each it was £31 each, a good price.

I recently had an amazing meal at Cafe Venice in Whitton. We started with the dough balls and garlic mushrooms, which set a delicious tone for the evening. The dough balls were fresh and fluffy, served warm with a dipping sauce that was the perfect balance of garlic and butter. The garlic mushrooms were rich and flavorful, a great starter that hinted at the deliciousness to come.

For mains, the tagliatelle with mushrooms and prawns in creamy sauce was superb. The pasta was perfectly al dente, with a creamy sauce that was rich but not overwhelming, letting the mushrooms and prawns shine. The pollo pizza was another hit, loaded with toppings and a perfect crust, and the rack of ribs was fall-off-the-bone tender, bursting with flavor.

To finish, we indulged in chocolate fudge cake and tiramisu. The fudge cake was decadent and satisfying, but the tiramisu was the real star. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness—it was absolutely out of this world!

Special shoutout to the head waitress, who was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Her warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. Cafe Venice is a must-visit for anyone in Whitton!

This place is not just rough around the edges—it’s sandpaper in pub form. Sticky floors, suspiciously patterned seats, and a smell that could be bottled and sold as “Eau de Lived-In.” But my god, I love it.

This is the kind of pub where the beer taps are older than your nan and the carpet has seen more spilled secrets than a confessional booth.

4 Star. Would risk the questionable toilets again.
