Fish inedible, smelled off, looked old. Batter was fluorescent and grease soaked. Honest review, the chips were great. Dont try the fish. Prices utterly ludicously expensive.

Fish batter was greasy and tasteless. The chips were small and hard. I thought it was a one off but has happened second time round. Never again. Since the takeover, it's gone downhill. Do not recommend!

Popped in for a meal after a long drive from Yorkshire. What a fabulous restaurant. The waiter was great, really helpful in making suggestions and the food was amazing. Good value too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return when I am back in the area

First time me and my partner ordering here and let me say this this place does not dissapoint food was absolutely delicious we both had fish and chips the fish was cooked to perfection the chips were golden brown. Thank you so much we both really enjoyed the best fish and chips round here. Will definitely be coming back again.

Our takeaway fish and chips were freshly cooked to order and tasted perfectly good. Can't comment on other items on menu. They didn't rush the cooking like some shops do, so the order was fresh and very nicely cooked and not raw or undercooked. Very nice staff. Would go again.

Late night food was only ok as the pie I had came straight out a wrapper and heated in the microwave. Did get a cup of coffee however which was a first in a chippy.
