Wonderful, crazy place to look around & eat in, full of eccentric vintage treasures & creations. Good coffee selection & yummy cakes. We haven't tried the rest of the menu yet but we'll be back.Parking: Prime location opposite park in Upminster, parking spaces on road outside. (charge machine currently out of action.)

Had high hopes for this place, really loved the decor and the booths were comfy and cosy. Staff seemed quite friendly too so no complaints there but food was a bit of a disappointment.I ordered two heathy large breakfast and hot drinks which came to 32.50 which consisted of many items;1 slice of toast cut up v small and over toasted.Halloumi that has been brutally grilled or something, cut thin so it was rock hard - this is not how halloumi should be prepared, it should be very lightly fried so it’s soft on the inside. Two Small pancakes that were out of a packet and cold.Strawberries and banana cut up v small with yoghurt. Two poached eggs which again were cold. Two hash browns that looked like they’d been cooked in a panini press. The avocado was the only thing I could enjoy. All this for 12.50 which at the time seemed good value but I would have preferred less items and a hot drink to go with it instead.I would strongly recommend that the cafe reduce their menu so they can serve quicker and please don’t overcook / burn food.

Cosy Coffee lounge, polite friendly staff and prompt service, even has a dog friendly area. Snacks freshly prepared include Bagels, Sandwiches, Waffles, Toasties, Cakes and other sweet treats.

This is the second time we have visited this place. The service is very bad and although there is no kitchen the menu is large. Should concentrate on sandwiches and cakes. Would not return.

Would love to see vegan (plant-based) savoury options on the menu. Come on team Vintage 21, you can do better! ;)Loved the quirky decor... & would love to give this place another try when the food options improve.

Well where do we start the store was empty we waited nearly half hour for someone to take our order, to then be over charged get our order waffles burnt and cold. Ice cream more lumps of ice than ice cream, poor service staff kept looking at us but didn't acknowledge we wanted to order. Stood outside waiting order came ice cream not even put in a bag just planted on the top of our waffle boxes. Was beyond disappointed with the experience there. Would never visit again to be ignored and ripped off.

I've visited this Cafe previously with my partner and we both agreed the coffee was fairly bitter. I thought we should give it the benefit of the doubt. However, looking at the condescending and insanely passive aggressive responses from the owner regarding other customers honest reviews on here, it has completely put us off ever visiting again. Treat constructive criticism from customers with respect (especially AS THEY HAVE PAID FOR A SERVICE) and use it as a way to improve your cafe...not a way to be nasty and continue the rudeness that they've previously pointed out.

A nice shop and the staff were excellent, fair range of food and a couple of vegan options as well. My partner had a toastie which she enjoyed very much.We ordered 2 lattes with one being made with soya milk. They did not ask us what size and gave us the large. The coffee was very nice but a large soy latte (£3.40) and a 50p extra charge for soya milk made my drink £3.90, the most I have ever paid for a soya latte. Even in this present climate that is way to much, in my opinion.Apart from that a very nice place and lovely staff.

Fancied something sweet today so thought we would give here a try, we ordered the Ferrero Roche Crepe and Oreo waffles and they were absolutely lovely. So much so we will definitely have to come back next weekend to try some of the others. The lady behind the counter was really lovely and welcoming and the sun is out so we got to enjoy the sunshine as well, what more can you ask for ?
