Booked table and had to wait in chaos for half an hour. Staff were clueless and were not honest in how long we would need to wait. In party of 12 and seat configuration was rubbish. 2 mains were not delivered and seems such basic thing not to get wrong. Offered several times food destined to other tables though. A shame. Food is very nice if pricey. But wont rush back. Wish restaurant did not overbook so much.

Came in on 5th January for my brothers birthday meal and was not disappointed as the food was very nice attentive staff and nice busy atmosphere and will probably visit again as he has just moved into the area and is partial to a nice curry!

Booked a table for 21st Dec weeks ago and then they cancelled 2weeks prior as a company has booked out the restaurant !! Profit before service ! Really poor , it won’t only be me that’s affected I’m sure . Won’t be going there again

The food and ambience is very good. The service is excellent. The prices charged are what only can be described as greedy and ridiculous. They are charging more than top city centre top restaurants! This explains why not full on 8 December. £36 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio is a rip. A place you go to just the once.

My sister were not hungry, so we ordered wine, poppadums basket, fried squid and butter chicken to go.After ordering, different waiters was coming to us every 5 minutes and asked what we would eat. It looked impolite and created a fuss rather than a relaxed atmosphere. This continued throughout our presence. Staff simply interrupted our conversation and did not allow us to talk calmly. As a result, after 1 hour and 15 minutes they simply let us know that it was time for us to go and said they would bring the bill.Although there were free tables and the restaurant was not completely full. It's very unpleasant that the staff behaves like this! I don't feel like I would come back there again after being treated like this

Had the butter chicken, chicken biryani, nan, onion bhaji and another of the starters I forgot the name of. All really nice. The Sri Lankan Lion beer is also excellent. I would say that a main course per person is probably enough unless you're really hungry.

Really enjoyed the dishes served, we had chicken kottu, lamprais and naan which were all delicious. We asked our food to be spicy and were not disappointed one bit! It was spicy but to the right level. The staff was welcoming and Sanjiva and Lahiru were very polite. I'm based in the south, but I'll definitely pay a visit next time when heading to Manchester!
