Came here for family meal, went for the carvery and can honestly say I have never had a worst Carvery ! Roast potatoes so hard and black , Yorkshire puddings dry and hard , must be yesterdays ! All the rest ( veg and potatoes very bland and tasteless)

Me and my family went out to eat as we was staying next door We came on Monday evening around 6pm for dinner There wasn’t much choice on the menu but we all managed to pick something even though my family are fussy eaters We had a drink only for a memeber of staff to say you didn’t have an item of the veggie chillis dish in stock so we cancelled the order and got a refund We then went up to get a carvery and you had no chicken only beef? My family doesn’t eat beef as it’s against our religion but your staff memebers who started at 5pm wasn’t even informed as to what carvery you had We got a full refund on all 5 meals only to then walk all the way to Pizza Hut where we did finally enjoy our meal Not happy amd your staff did mention that they started at 5pm

I want to thank Marie, one of your staff members who was so friendly, helpful and attentive. Not only to us but I noticed it on the tables around us as well. The gentleman who brought our food out was also very friendly. Sadly, the gentleman behind the bar let the team down by not having the courtesy to even acknowledge me waiting to be served so I gave up and we left without pudding and additional drinks. It's been a few years since I've been here and the atmosphere was quite nice - good music and general noise levels made it quite relaxing. It was clean and well maintained. Service on floor was great - just needs some improvement behind the bar. Food was nice with good selection. I ordered through the app as there was a massive queue at the bar and the ordering experience was fine, however there was no option that I could see for soda water or tap water (another star for Marie who quickly sorted that out for us!). In summary I'd go back :-)

Went for a family tea tonight. The meals were lovely, plenty of food and great value prices. The service provided by Marie was exceptional, she was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she made our visit even better!

I was due to visit Manchester and wanted to treat my sister to lunch and she loves a carvery. I therefore searched for Carvery's in North Manchester and came across the Ash Tree Farm. I even checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor which all seemed positive, however our experience was anything but. The place is clean enough and staff pleasant enough but the quality of food was very poor. We visited the restaurant about 3 pm and it was still busy. Everything about the meal was poor the roast potatoes were stale all the vegetables all dried out, they must of been there for some time and not refreshed The gravy was very thin (watery) and tasteless It was so poor i would strongly recommend people find another place if they want to have a carvery. I am from Devon and used to a proper quality carvery / roast and this was no where near that. Would not be re visiting.

Called in for a quick bite on way home from shopping only 2 of us so got seated straight away. Staff were amazing so helpful and friendly. Definitely will call in again

Attended at 645-7 last night ,,4 carverys ordered , told only 2 meats but plenty , 2 went first , 2 meats , fatty , roast potatoes burnt , dish virtually empty , parsnips same , had to ask to fill up , in time they did , other items warm not hot . Went back to table , partners went up , got to carvery , ran out of meat ! brought some chicken fillets out which looked liked been pinged in microwave , not nice & not a lot of other items left , except one or two vegetables! Ended up with lasagnas being ordered , obviously our partners had eaten and finished there’s by time we got lasagnas . Offered a cake away if we wanted but very poor ,didn’t take up on them , won’t return again .

Stopped for lunch, had a katsu burger and cheese burger, food was lovely, and great service, Marie was very helpful and friendly

Nothing positive too say about this place. Bit of a wait. At bar too order drinks and food. Too be told no roast potatoes. And not much mash. Brussels sprouts frozen not fresh. Mash tasted like smash. Green beans ok, beef chewy. Yorkshire pudding soggy. Turkey nice. No gravy left. Did tell the chef who was serving the meats. Who just looked at me and ignored me. Food went cold within minutes. One of the staff members asked how our food was. My partner told him the truth. He actually said we was the first too complain. Which I don't believe. We will deffo not be returning . Worst carvery I have ever had. Even thing my dog would not eat this food. Went too work hungry. So if your a foodie. This place is not for you.

Booked table for 10 two weeks prior for very special family occasion including young children. Arrived on time. Total chaos. Admitted triple over booked. But still taking walk ins. Told table not quite ready. Waited 20 minutes told table still not ready. Eventually went through to table still being prepared. We had to seat 10 people squashed around a selection of oval and oblong tables squashed together in a corner so two guests were sat half on each. Tables still being wiped but still sticky. Cake Away cakes the highlight of the visit were only gautaux not the usual selection. Walked out in disgust. Will never recommend or go again.
