Five Guys Ashton Under Lyne
Fold Way, Ashton Moss Leisure Park, Ashton-under-LyneFive Guys Ashton Under Lyne is located at Ashton Moss Leisure Park on Fold Way, which is pretty much one stop on the tram from the town centre, the retail park location makes it easy to access whether you are attending on foot, public transit or using your vehicle. I visited this particular Five Guys and was impressed with the quality and speed of service, a manager took my order due to having an allergy and briefly explained the procedures in regards to cross-contamination. The interior is like any other Five Guys; I do feel they could have placed more tables here, though, as there was a lot of unused space, and it was busy on my visit, so the extra tables would have been useful. I ordered a lettuce-wrapped cheeseburger with a small fries, the food was on the pricey side but cost no more than any other Five Guys. The portion size, however, was good. My burger was juicy and cooked well, and while I would prefer a gluten-free bun, the lettuce wrap was a nice idea and is certainly better than what many other places, including McDonald's, offer. The opening hours are pretty good and are in line with other restaurants within the retail park and nearby- they are open until 10 pm during the week however, on weekend nights, they are open until 11 pm. The delivery radius via Uber Eats is good and even expands into Oldham. I have not tried their delivery services yet, but it is nice to see that they cover a wide range, although I'm not sure how they'd keep the food hot after travelling 5+ miles! I would return to this Five Guys again if I was in the area for sure. 4*

Ego at The Hartshead Inn
Mossley Rd, Ashton-under-LyneBooked last minute for dinner with relatives from New Zealand who came over. Was looking for somewhere cosy and homely with good food without being pretentious, and The Hartshead Inn delivered just that. All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious with zero complaints, drinks were wonderful. However the service exceeded all expectations. Grace our server was exceptional. She made sure we were topped up at all times and came back regularly to check everything was okay. We felt very much looked after. Grace took it upon herself to suggest the 3-course for £30 menu, explaining that it worked out cheaper than ordering just 2 courses from the regular menu, which made us feel like she was ‘on our side’. Then with desserts, they were out of crème brûlée, which my dad was going to order, so Grace made sure he had both custard and ice cream on his sticky toffee pudding, following a fun conversation about hot & cold foods together. Overall came away with full bellies and smiles. Thank you again for a great experience.

Ciara notified us of a deal involving the sides that helped us to save money and have an extra side dish, we really appreciated this and all of their help throughout the meal. Wellington Rd, Ashton-under-LyneWe visited today for lunch as our son is on the catering course and works in the restaurant. The food and service was amazing , couldn't fault anything. The young people were lovely and attentive, making sure we had everything and checking we were enjoying our food . I would 100% recommend going and will be going again In the future. Beautiful food at very affordable prices . Tameside college should be very proud of their catering students .

So as it seems they promote pizza, tacos Andrew burgers I think but only pizza was available while I visited. They have cards where your pick your toppings etc straight forward pizza is great. Tried the house beer as well as stout they where ok. Let's put it this way looks like lively local pub and would stop when travelling around to grab pizza. Enjoyed my visit.

We didn’t book but was available so was pleased to be able to use it. Throughly enjoyed the afternoon. Would definitely go again. The lady behind the bar is very friendly, the service was great and the food was delicious everything was clearly homemade and piping hot. Photong Thai Restaurant
21 Stamford St, Mossley, Ashton-under-LyneAte here for the first time yesterday and was so impressed. It's a cosy little setup, staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was gorgeous. The presentation of everything was lovely and there were lots of vegetarian options which was great. Highly recommend!

Ego at The Hartshead Inn
Mossley Rd, Ashton-under-LyneBooked last minute for dinner with relatives from New Zealand who came over. Was looking for somewhere cosy and homely with good food without being pretentious, and The Hartshead Inn delivered just that. All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious with zero complaints, drinks were wonderful. However the service exceeded all expectations. Grace our server was exceptional. She made sure we were topped up at all times and came back regularly to check everything was okay. We felt very much looked after. Grace took it upon herself to suggest the 3-course for £30 menu, explaining that it worked out cheaper than ordering just 2 courses from the regular menu, which made us feel like she was ‘on our side’. Then with desserts, they were out of crème brûlée, which my dad was going to order, so Grace made sure he had both custard and ice cream on his sticky toffee pudding, following a fun conversation about hot & cold foods together. Overall came away with full bellies and smiles. Thank you again for a great experience.

The service is exceptional.
They pride themselves on the food & it really shows. They know what they’re doing & how to cook food to perfection.
For a curry I wouldn’t go anywhere else, plus the prices are fair.
Really really good restaurant, even as a takeaway the food is always 10/10.
The owners are lovely & you can tell they care about customers & the dishes they serve, honestly couldn’t rate this place highly enough.

The Witchwood
152 Old St, Ashton-under-LyneI recently saw Pure Weller Tribute Band and they were absolutely fantastic. The band really captures the sound, energy, and spirit of Paul Weller’s music, covering classics from The Jam, The Style Council, and his solo career with impressive authenticity.
The musicianship was top-class, with tight performances and great attention to detail that made the whole set feel genuine rather than just a tribute. The atmosphere was brilliant from start to finish, and it was clear the crowd loved every minute.
If you’re a Paul Weller fan or just enjoy high-quality live music, Pure Weller are definitely worth seeing live. A superb night of music and nostalgia — highly recommended.

Restaurant at tameside one
Wellington Rd, Ashton-under-LyneWe visited today for lunch as our son is on the catering course and works in the restaurant. The food and service was amazing , couldn't fault anything. The young people were lovely and attentive, making sure we had everything and checking we were enjoying our food . I would 100% recommend going and will be going again In the future. Beautiful food at very affordable prices . Tameside college should be very proud of their catering students .

235 Stockport Rd, Mossley, Ashton-under-LyneBeen on Saturday and Sunday I think Saturday was live music on. Sunday was generally quiet food also served shorter hours on Sunday. So as it seems they promote pizza, tacos Andrew burgers I think but only pizza was available while I visited. They have cards where your pick your toppings etc straight forward pizza is great. Tried the house beer as well as stout they where ok. Let's put it this way looks like lively local pub and would stop when travelling around to grab pizza. Enjoyed my visit.

Wellington Rd, Ashton-under-LyneKaraoke Room 10/10 Loved using the karaoke room on Sunday afternoon with the girls after we went for brunch. There were 12 of us. We didn’t book but was available so was pleased to be able to use it. Throughly enjoyed the afternoon. Would definitely go again. Would recommend to book if was a Friday/Saturday night or any other time if you didn’t want to be disappointed. Staff were lovely. Drink selection was extensive and good value for money. No complaints.

Super fresh, super tastie, very fair priced and the delivery man is also a proper nice bloke.
