India is such an amazing person! She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top notch on Thursday 28th march 2024 where we were celebrating 3 birthdays. Nothing we asked was too much for her. I hope she’s in the running for management one day!The only thing that let your restaurant down on the 28th was the fact you think it’s acceptable to have 1 bar staff during the week. Granted the week may not be as busy but when you have a menu offering cocktails along with all other fancy drinks you cannot expect just one person to do this and to keep the guests happy. On most occasions we were receiving our food before drinks. Please allow 2 bar staff for evenings during the week or you may start losing the custom you are trying to build up.Anyways, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection! India was amazing and the whole experience was good (would have been amazing if drinks were flowing - and you also lost money on this basis as more would have been ordered would they have come straight away).I hope when we next book a big meal this review has been taken into consideration.

Not been to M&C for some 10 years following a bad experience at Cheshire Oakes but partner fancied a steak and we were nearby and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!Our waitress Keira was a joy, is a credit to this business and the inspiration for this review. She was just genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you Keira.The food was genuinely sublime. I'm a Hawksmoor fan and this dish was up there. Lovely starter of bread, olives and butter followed by 16oz Ribeye, chunky chips (a bit bitty but still great) and "wedge" with beef dripping sauce and the whole lot was stunning.From greeting to departure the experience was one that we were talking about for days after!!Certainly coming back to this location hoping for same again.

Chloe Assistant greeted us with a warm welcome and took us to our table. The table itself had a big gouge on it sadly. and the walls could do with a bit of TLC.Sinead then appeared and had a cheerful warm personality. Gave us some great advice on foods we chose. The food was absolutely exceptional. We had the butchers block.Later we decided to stay for a drink and got chatting to Bethany, she was another lovely soul. Staff and food cannot fault. decor... needs some TLC

Sat. 18th birthdayOn the whole good evening,how ever 12 oz sirloin had big blob of fat on the end. Party of 9 asked for seperate bills per couple and the bill came all jumbled up and had to pay all in one go.
