My Husband and I dined here on Thurs for lunch and the whole experience was lovely from start to finish. Our waitress was called Morgan and she was very polite and friendly. Also a shout out to Jack who brought us our starters...he too was very friendly and courteous. The food was top notch, fresh and just perfect. Highly recommend! We will definitely return ?

Quite disappointed sadly, because it’s a very pretty restaurant and I was look forward to trying somewhere new. Both pizzas were undercooked, the posh pepper fries didn’t taste like peppercorn sauce and our starter wasn’t too good either. The one thing I did like was the salt and pepper chicken bites, cooked in a sticky, rich sauce!

We had ordered starters, mains and a dessert, the butter chicken was lovely, the bbq cheesy burger was lovely and not too much! For dessert we had ordered the marble waffle which topped off a lovely meal. Amy served us and brought a vibrant atmosphere, we would be happy to eat here again!

First time dining at Alfred's, based off one recommendation and reading the reviews, a very positive experience overall, we did initially have an issue around our order which seemed to be taking an age, however, vigilant staff realised the problem and sorted it pronto, then reflected in a generous bill discount much to our satisfaction.The steaks ordered by some in our party were fabulous, plentiful and cooked exactly as ordered.The only thing I would have changed would have been the extremely loud background music, and that's me being picky.The drinks menu could do with a choice of a couple of alcohol free beers which are a booming section of the drinks market.On settling the bill, we assured the staff that we would definitely be back despite the earlier glitch around our order.If you are umming and ahhring about whether or not to give this place a go ... just do it, you probably won't be disappointed.
