Time to get out and about, so yesterday we visited The Robin Hood, Tottington for the first time and we are glad we did. Made welcome by staff and pub regulars, we picked main meals and a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our lunch. The food was good, well cooked Greene King pub grub, which we really enjoyed and the wine was every bit as good too. We can really recommend The Robin Hood, Tottington and we will be returning soon.

Went to the Trackside on Friday and try to make the effort to come when we can, it’s the perfect place and location. We both had the Bury Benedict, tasted brilliant, great portion size and very reasonable price. Exceptional service by both a lady and young man, who were both very friendly and kind. Table service too.
We stayed for a couple of ales, they have a great selection. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

Absolutely beautiful place, delicious tasty food, well presented, the new owner is fantastic so chatty, kind and friendly as are all the staff, service was excellent for our table of six, made my daughters birthday meal perfect.
Sorry didn’t take pictures of food but we had spaghetti carbonara and even a carbonara pizza, spinach and ricotta cannelloni, spicy chicken strips with curry sauce and rice and the sea bass with a creamy spinach sauce which was delicious, every meal was beautifully presented and enjoyed thoroughly, thankyou, can’t wait to come back next week for the Mother’s Day specials.

We had not been to the Shoulder for a while but had read good reviews, so gave it a try and were not disappointed, very enjoyable Sunday roasts. I had roast beef and my wife lamp served on a hot plates our lunches were delicious winter vegetables crisp roast potatoes, red cabbage , mash , fresh Yorkshire pudding and delicious gravy.\nWe can highly recommend the Shoulder they have a good chef and we will be back to try more delicious menu options. The staff are genuinely friendly with smiles and caring customer attention.

My wife and I went to The Black Bull for dinner early yesterday evening, once again had a faultless dining experience. The food was excellent, very good portions and served hot, what made the meal so enjoyable however was the service. The two young ladies who looked after us - Isabel and Freya - were lovely, very attentive without being OTT, cheerful and friendly. We have always been well looked after here and yesterday was no exception, in fact several more expensive restaurants in Manchester could do with sending their staff to The Black Bull for a crash course in hospitality. Many thanks to a great team for a first class experience, we will return!

Myself and 4 colleagues down from Scotland stayed at the Premier Inn across the road for 6 days,but made the Knowsley our watering hole every night.We were down for a football weekend and had a great time in the area.The Knowsley offered great value for both food which was delicious and a great selection of Beers and spirits,generously priced I might add.The staff were very accommodating and I personally thanked them for their hospitality on our last night in Bury.We will pop in next time we're down in the area.Thank you once again.The Scots lads.????????.

Only thing is that my friend always orders on the app on her way in and despite selecting eat in its always prepped as take out and they always forget the knife for her butter!

Dietary restrictions: Provide dairy alternatives, gluten free options. Allergy info is available on line or through the app.

Parking: Multi storey car park for the shopping centre with lift and stair access or other paid parking on other town centre car parks.

Kid-friendliness: Menu items specifically for children, baby change also available. Costa supports breast feeding. Staff will assist with being orders out if you have a pram etc.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's quite difficult with a wheelchair due to the closeness of tables but easy to move a chair and staff will bring your order to the table

Feels like a proper pub from days of old; yet clean, cosy and modern. Never any trouble and a variety of age groups make this place a genuine place to relax and make new friends. The staff are amazing and really connect with the customers. The landlord and lady have created something very much needed in these modern times and I thank them for it. Food is excellent and good value, occasional weekend entertainment is always top class and the Sunday quiz is my personal highlight of the week - it's fun and everyone has a great laugh. If you've never been, I'd definitely recommend this gem of a pub.

We've always walked past this place when in town but on Saturday the mother-in-law came over and whilst doing a spot of shopping we decided to finally go in and I'm so glad we did. Everyone was so friendly, really welcoming, felt like you were visiting friends from the first minute and the food was really good, great value, we all got the dine-in deal: Fish and Chips, Peas, Bread & Butter and a Tea for £12.50 and honestly it was one of the best I've had this side of Yorkshire. The batter was perfectly crispy and the fish big chunky and flaky! Top marks.

I’ve been visiting this café for the last 25 years, and for the past 11 it’s been run by the current owner.

Today I tried the special,homemade steak pie with mushy peas and gravy ,all for just £6.50. The food was delicious; proper homemade flavour and excellent value. You’d easily pay £10+ for the same meal elsewhere. I honestly don’t know how they do it!

Well worth the trip from Blackpool , this café remains one of the nicest and best-value places around.
