“Microbreweries seem to be popping up in the UK now, which are a welcome change from the major distributor owned pubs all serving the same beers. Northern Whisper offered a nice selection and is in a a great little town where a few places can be sampled within a short walk. I'd give it a 5 if I'd sampled a few more selections, and the staff could have described a bit more about what they had on tap. Nobody is going to ask a barkeep to describe a Thwaites Original Ale, but in microbreweries or bars focusing on small local brewers, such insights are expected. I will certainly stop in more often the next time across the pond.”
