Honestly can say this is the wist place I've ever every ever been1. I told the guy you have no fried chicken will it be fresh, I said I don't want refried chicken as they did nit have any in the warmer.2. I seen him refrying old chicken. So I went to the counter and said, I made it very clear before I ordered I don't want refried and he said ohh yours will be fresh this is fir delivery.3. I got my food and surprise surprise mine was refried he just don't it in the back where I could not see. The batter was rock hard the under was just oily yukk.4. He gave me a 2 tubs of mayo and one had a hair in the the other seemed like someone dipped his finger in5. Tables are dirty like really dirty6. No coustomers service the guy was just on his phone.What the hell has happened to chiken cottage, I used to go to the one in Manchester which was decent but the bury one has put me off for good.

This is by far the best take away in bury. Love the food always top quality ? had to do my review on here as I always order my food over the phone then have it delivered. They arrive on time every time with no problems at all and the staff are lovely! I don't even have to remember my order when I ring any more and shout out to who takes the orders! ?‼️

The food in general looks good. Unfortunately I cannot eat it straight away as cold. This place was recommended to me but cold having to warm up. Also ordered corn only to be sent onion rings ??? Phoned the shop they don’t do corn but it’s on the menu ! Shop cannot give me a refund so it has taken over 1/2 hr to contact Just Eat for money back that will take at least 7 days. Food might be good but is it worth the hassle

Visited Saturday afternoon with family food was all fresh and hot and most of all very tasty the staff are very friendly a great place to eat with friends and family ..Great sitting area and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed

Ordered food good delivery time abt 20min paid 10 for a combo meal they sent the meal version which is originally 6 50 but I paid 10pound the worker must deaf or something and can't even get my money back good food but dissatisfied with the service

We went to Chicken Cottage in Mill Gate Shopping mall in Bury. We had Fried Chicken and Grilled chicken from there. It was amazingly fresh and tasty. Chicken Cottage Fried Chicken and their customer service is the best compare to KFC or any other chicken shops in and around. Definitely worth visiting here.

The food with Chicken cottage has always been good quality however what is consistently disappointing is the staffs persistent inability to deliver a full correct order. No matter what can of pop is ordered, the only pop that gets delivered is Pepsi! The staff are able to understand on the phone what it is you ask for however repeatedly demonstrate an inability to deliver this. This is very frustrating. Another problem also arises when extras are asked for, e.g. cheese on a wrap or burger. Again the staff acknowledge over the phone what you are asking however fail repeatedly to get a complete order right, however still charge for what you ask for. As well as this, gravey and sauces are often missed out. This is frustrating as what customers are asking for is not rocket science.

DISAPPOINTED [ZERO STARS IF I COULD] - Ordered through UberEats using wife's account on on Sat 3-Jul-2021. Order was late and then NEVER ARRIVED leaving 4 young children hungry and disappointed. Tried to contact multiple times on the mobile number given but there was NO RESPONSE. Found main number through Google and finally got to speak to someone. They just LIED numerous times - firstly saying that the order had been ready for over 45 mins and that I had not provided an address [UnberEats confirmed the vendor can see the address], then they lied stating that they had called me but my number was dead [even though I was calling from that very number and had not received a single missed call, text or email from the restaurant]. Then they lied to say the driver arrived but we did not answer [how did the driver arrive if they initially stated they did not have my address]. Then the man became irate and started blaming me, giving me abuse and threatening me. We won't be popping into this place needless to say or ordering from them online. Had to waste mire time getting UberEats to cancel the order and refund me. THANK YOU "CHICKEN CONN" FOR RUINING THE SATURDAY FOR 4 YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEN MAKING UP RUBBISH. SHAME ON YOU. STAY CLEAR!

Food was decent when it arrived. I had to phone after waiting 45 minutes after delivery time eta had passed. Was told "5 minutes" instead of being told what caused the delay. After a further 15 minutes had passed I phoned again to be told "sorry, we're busy. Driver has left and is on the way." So, being fair I waited another 10 minutes before calling a third time this time being told that there had been a problem and my order was on the way. Food arrived shortly after that call with the driver advising me that my order had not been accepted on their Uber Eats account so each time I called Chicken Cottage lied to me.Telling a customer "it will be 5 minutes" when you haven't even started cooking the order is simply going to result in another phone call 5 minutes later with a customer who is more annoyed than the first time and so on..... Unfortunately I won't be coming back because of this. Be honest with customers. Most would understand. Shame because the food was good

Ordered via Deliveroo, order was supposed to be delivered at 7.50pm, but it arrived 45 minutes later.Ordered 2 meals and some wings. Fries were missing and burger was WET AND SOGGY!!! So i called them on the phone, said they would send out fries after 25 minutes But would not replace burger.No actual apology over the phone, and spoke to very disrespectfully.I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND I EXPECT A CERTAIN LEVEL OF FOOD EVEN IF IT IS CHICKEN COTTAGE!!!!Never order here AGAIN!!!!!

The menu does not reflect your order. We ordered the bonus medley box which on their website and menu states that it includes: -Ten crispy stripsTen chicken nuggetsChicken poppersFour regular fries1.5 litre of soft drinkWe only got two fries and 9 strips . We phoned the restaurant, they apologised And said that it is a misprint and the meal only comes with two fries. I explained this is not what your menu says and That we would have ordered more, they offered to refund the cost of two fries But this never happened. As for the missing piece of chicken it was out down to human error, miss one piece if each order and two chips fir your profit margins to increase. Poor service

Excellent Service, such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere... Deffoz recommend this to all ? The food and chicken used is 100% fresh and not processed unlike many others out there.... its surely cost effective.

Been here twice and each time it as been excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful very clean and food is delicious, never ordered out but eating in is great .from the other reviews must have new owners definitely a place I would recommend
