Visited 15.03.24 9amReally disappointed after seeing the reviews. Undercooked sloppy scrambled eggs. Soggy and poorly toasted "toast". Slow service. Had to wait 15 minutes for food despite only two tables in and a further 10 for the eggs to be re-cooked. Coffee is fine, that's all.

I first fell in love with ground up over a month ago now it’s sort of become part of my daily routine. I’m totally addicted to the caramel cappuccino and the bacon butties are lush !!!I would definitely recommend….They have a great selection of sandwiches, pies, bagels, and another tasty treats….. Warm, welcoming and very friendly staff… almost filled my loyalty card for sure…

Cutest coffee shop. The toasties are amazing and the passion fruit cooler is addictive!

Cakes and coffee are great, was child friendly we were playing connect 4 for quite some time. Boys had hot chocolates, which were amazing. In an area surrounded by coffee shops, Ground Up definitely stands alone. If you want to potter about vinyls or eat overly priced bagels, go next

Best cortado and mocha in town. Very friendly staff. Stylish and relaxing atmosphere. Not expensive too. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian options.Highly recommend.

One of the best bacon sandwiches I have ever had!Fantastic coffee and lovely atmosphere. Thanks Mark for my lovely breakfast I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Another great lunch at Ground Up. One of my favourite spots in Bury. They do a wide range of sandwiches on really nice bread well packed with delicious fillings. Lots of different drinks to go with the food too.Today I had roast vegetables with houmous, previously had smoked salmon and cream cheese and my first encounter was a delicious chicken sandwich that they heated up for me.Service is always good, can't recommend it highly enough. Also there's plenty of sockets around the cafe if you wanted to work from here for the day.

Called in today for a latte. Much tastier than the big coffee chains and lovely to receive good service and have a little chat whilst waiting too. Will definitely be back here to try the food asap, especially after looking at the reviews!

Awful bacon here tried twice now never again it's all fat. For the price I expect proper bacon.

Lovely quiet coffee shop in Bury city centre. Studied here for a couple hours and it was a great calm atmosphere. Service was great. Wish there were a couple more vegan options but alternative milk was available which was great. Thank you !!
