My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Some sound-absorbing soft wall coverings would help as (see other reviews) it can get very noisy. But fortunately not for us this last visit !

Been many times, but sadly there was a stag party in at the same time. They thought it was acceptable to shout and swear and ruin the evening for others. I will return soon because it's an excellent place to eat usually.

We started using this as our new take away place. It’s a bit of a hit and miss. Yesterday my auntie treated everyone and it was awful. Oily, watery madras sauces, one lamb tikka was too chewy to eat and the vindaloo was too hot. We used to have vindaloo, but they make it too hot. Naan was cold. You’ve lost some very good customers now. But looking at the lack of response to reviews, you may not be too bothered anyhow.

Stopped going here a couple of years ago as things were not the same as we had enjoyed in the past. Tried jalfrezi tonight and it was poor...no flavor just chilli heat. Very disappointed and rice seamed like it had been sat there a while. Sorry guys can no longer recommend you

This place makes the Curry mile feel embarrassed . The curry , the rice and the soft large naans - consistently good so anyone who comes to visit and we rarely venture out as this is the best takeout for miles although they have a restaurant it gets packed .

I have had many meals in and take away over the years and they were always good. The last two meals I had were not good . I am very disappointed. The onion bhajis were chewy and look like they’ve been reheated. The Rogan Josh I ordered didn’t even taste like Rogan Josh. Maybe they’ve got a new chef I don’t know but I won’t be in there again
Very average three plus. Not quite a four. Noticed the newest reviews in the last year are lowering overall score, should have checked in advance. Not sure what’s changed, but my experience was ok. Nothing to shout about, but nothing to complain about.

Got turned away because we hadn't booked (there were 3 of us), there were only about 10 tables in there because half of the premises is used for takeaways. Rubbish, and it was nothing special on the inside, bang average

Came with a small group of three, got glared at as we waited to be seated and then proceeded to be completely ignored once we sat down. A bigger group came in and had water at they’re table before the host had even came to ours. Rude and disrespectful, will happily spend my money elsewhere.

This is a delightful place. You take your own alcohol which lowers the cost hugely. Mizan the waiter is excellent, quiet and polite.The food is wonderful. And lots of it.
