Excellent. The best chip shop in England. Fish and chips, kebabs are the best. 5 star hygiene rating it really is the best. Don’t take any notice of the very rare low ratings it’s just jealous competitors.

Local fish shop - what more could you want? Fish is no where near "regular size" think large! Sauces are nice and thick and their other menu options are popular too!Sauces are small - get large sizes no matter what, fish batter was more on the thick floury type. But everything tastes that same familiar f+c taste.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate this piece of art?!? Just WOW!!! I have no words to describe how tasty it is! Everything so clean staff is really smashing it. I have been to many chippy places and worked as well but OOO BOYYYY this one is absolutely outstanding will definitely come back and recommend to everyone. The best mixed kebab on chips in the area by far. And the service is very friendly. Chilli sauce and garlic mayo makes it even better.
Had a lovely kebab. Lady behind the counter was very friendly and I left with a very nice kebab and chippy chips.

If there was a scenario where it meant putting my life on the line for the sake of the continued existence of the Cheadle Chippy, I would happily do so. While I haven’t explored the depths of their menu offerings because I’m too addicted my current order (fish/chips/curry) and I don’t have the privilege of being able to patronize the business more frequently due to the fact that I live in the states, the kebab meat slowly roasting on a spit in the background while I order my usual has me frothing at the mouth even as I write this review. I digress…The food is always fresh, the chips are always hot, and the flavors of the curry and gravy are always spot-on. Not to mention, the couple that operates this fine establishment are always so friendly. If it weren’t for the fact that I live in the states, I’d be ordering from this place at least once a week.Thank you, Cheadle Chippy. May your excellence be noticed and replicated elsewhere. See you very soon.
