I had the chicken burger which was a bit dry and over cooked, and definitely not worth the £16. But the starters were nice, the staff were friendly and pretty prompt, and the place was clean and tidy.

Just had my birthday meal with my family and my cousin Liz. We booked our table at 13.30 on a Saturday. They asked us to choose the meals prior to the day. On the day the staff could not do enough for us. On arrival their were flowers and a card from the John Millington. They helped my partner arrange birthday balloons. They even gave us a cake from Hydes as my cousin signed us up to their Hydes Card. The food was outstanding and the staff made my day. Definitely a birthday to remember.

We the Sunday Roast Platter for 2. Well worth a try plenty of food, we could not finish it, so the staff offer us containers to take home what was left (posh doggy bag)
