“Came in for lunch today with 3 friends and family. The fish and home made chips were really lovely. The fish was perfect , pretty sure it was fresh cod fillets rather than frozen. Nice to see home made chips rather than the usual bland frozen one. The chilli was also great. Very surprised by such good food in a local pub. The staff were lovely too.
The only embarrassment was that we didn’t leave a tip as we didn’t realise service wasn’t added so we will tip next time for sure !
