First time here and what can I say apart from I should of come here a long time ago staff was absolutely amazing nothing was to much trouble good was absolutely fantastic the atmosphere was on point also will definitely be back

Great service. Good food option - though disappointed that there isn’t a curry option on the everyday menu. Good portions.Wheelchair accessibility: Great facilities for people with mobility restrictions.

Desi Lounge Restaurant

Always made to feel very welcome and special when we visit Desi Lounge. Great food and attentive staff and owner, Shorcat ( not sure of spelling of name) gave us gift of a very large triple malt whisky at end of meal.

Church Inn

Go for a pint with my pal Bruce on a Monday! Landlord is a quality guy and the staff are always friendly! Jukebox is always playing top tracks and they have Madri on tap! What more could you want in a pub?

The Eight Bells

A great boozer not many left since the pandemic sadly but this family friendly pub goes above & beyond ensuring that customers leave with a positive experience weather your dining in for food or just having a pint with friends & family. This pub always has brilliant entertainment a respectful atmosphere with great songs/artists on the playlist George Ezra one of my personal favourites to be exact, the bar staff are always welcoming & are very engaging in conversation & the lanlord whose actually my partners brother works Tirelessly managing the pub to the best of his abilities. Bricklayers Arms Manchester

My local pub. Has gone under recent changes of management, and they seem to now be doing a better job at taking care of the place.Drink prices are average, and they have sports on whenever there is a game.Parking: Parking is available on the local streets. However, these can get filled up quite quickly.

Village Pantry

Gorgeous cafe, super friendly team there. Saved me whilst waiting for my car in the garage.Food tasty, service excellent and a cute warm atmosphere. Thank you gorgeous girls for making my morning much brighter.

Anglers Arms

Absolutely a gem! People here so nice and helpful, I loved for spending time here. Service was utmost and food was top notch. Portions of food was really good in decent price.

La Fardy, the new sun inn

I went in the La Fardy on Saturday had a great time the entertainment was very good. The place looks amazing its beautiful inside done a great job. The price of drinks were not expensive.

The Crown & Cushion

Friendly welcome on entry, always a nice touch.Decent pint of San Miguel, nice atmosphere and busy with locals on a Friday afternoon.Good music and plenty of sport on.

The Village Chippy

It's a chippy traditional order of, fish (large) chips peas, placed more than once over 3mnth period. Fish cooked to order each visit, staff pleasant. Wait reasonable. Busy through put, waiting area 'small' for number of customers and 'Deliveroo type' pick-ups passing through.

The Wheatsheaf Inn

Really enjoy this pub, From the outside it doesn't seem too welcoming but they often have a fire in the back garden so it's a great beer garden environment, they have a TV and music as well. Inside is cosy and the staff are all lovely

Martin's Swiss Confectioners

I have been going here my whole life and they are the best. Their bread is very good and the cakes are delicious. Staff are the friendliest and really caring with the old folk. Lunch time sandwiches are yummy and made to order and the pies and snacks are also delicious. They also have the best freshly squeezed orange juice. They are not the cheapest but you really get what you pay for and Tesco and Morrisons could learn a thing or two from them. Please use and support your local shops as I would hate to lose Martins like we've lost the chemist, butchers and green grocers on this row.

The Mowbray Arms

It has a nice atmosphere, the pub has character. The staff are nice and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable and they have screens for football if that's your fancy but it doesn't interrupt your conversation. Definitely reccomend it. I'm definitely going again.

Martin's Bakers & Sandwich Makers

Had a little complaint about an item ordered online contacted shop they refunded immediately and arrived at my front door with a large goody bag and full apology - 5 star treatment for it's customers which is rare these days - thank you Martin's first class customer service

Master Wok

Our first time using Master Wok,The hot and sour soup was absolutely delicious ? The best I have tasted in years. The rest of our meal was delicious but I can't get over how spot on their soup was.Will definitely be recommending this place ?

The Windmill

We came along for a meal for my birthday and we’re bowled over with how amazing the restaurant looks. The Manager always puts in a special effort to decorate at christmas.Fantastic warm welcome and great food and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back here as it’s only a couple of minutes from my mother in laws house.Kid-friendliness: The windmill is right at the heart of the community and the staff go out of their way to make you welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: All on the one level. My 86 year old mother in law had no problem getting from the taxi to the table.
