Very slow serving staff When I got to the front of the queue the server just walked away into the staff room. Came back a few minutes later but still did not serve me. I left my tray and went else where. Will not be going back

Cafe once again dreadful with dirty crockery on tables, ALWAYS have to clear your own table here. Eggs Benedict was awful; muffin under cooked and slimy, ham thrown, rather than placed, on it, hard-boiled poached eggs and far too much sauce. Awful, avoid!

This is for Middlebrook store What a pathetic attempt to run a cafe Massive queue 2 serving Order wrong delaying matters further 20min wait in queue Dirty table Filthy floor People sitting down with no food so When you get yours there’s nowhere to sit ! Disgrace It’s not the staff it’s the lack of them Managers in groups of 3 in store talking whilst the queue goes out of the door ! Go and help clothes don’t need moving around again but the cafe need assistance where is their loyalty ? Rubbish rubbish rubbish

Restaurant visit 1:45 pm - Thurs. Nov. 17th. - Couple 65+. Even though the previous reviews go back over 3 years, almost all of them remain an accurate and fair assessment as to how not to run a restaurant within a large departmental store where, historically, the corporate mantra has always been to deliver a quality product / service to the customer. There was a queue of approx. 10 people ahead of us with just 2 staff members taking orders and making up the hot drinks. Painfully slow, and a subsequent 20 minute wait for "cooked meals" (snacks). Our order consisted of a ham hock wrap and a ham and cheese "toastie" plus a portion of chips + tea and hot choc drinks. For our £18 we got a chewy ham hock that looked like a sausage roll and a toastie- and I use the term loosely - that I doubt had ever been in the vicinity of a toaster. It was a disgrace. Tasteless, soggy, and poorly presented - not even any garnish to add a bit of colour. A prime example of how not to impress customers to such an extent, that they wouldn't go near the cafe again. Tables are still too close together, and there was no-one at reception to manage the influx of new customers in terms of organising table clearances and directing people to their seats. I accept that the staff - few as they were- were under pressure, but if you can't provide the basics of good customer service, then people won't return. I am so sad to have to submit such a damning review, but even sadder that, with the odd exception, - despite similar reviews spanning the last 3 years or so, not one blind bit of notice appears to have been taken towards rectifying the same issues being highlighted again and again.

I quite like shopping in this branch of M\\u0026S but unfortunately, the café is terrible. I ordered a flat white and the clueless woman behind the counter served up a latte in a small cup. When I pointed out her error the women became very defensive and rude, insisting she had made a flat white. She obviously had no customer service training and continued to try and convince me that I was wrong and she was right. Eventually, the rude woman backed down and served up half a small cup of something that looked and tasted a bit more like a flat white, I then had to sit at a dirty table (no clean ones). My idea of a relaxing few minutes in a café had been ruined. Never again.

The use by dates on the food they're selling in this store is absolutely ridiculous, lots of its out of date within 24 hrs of buying it.\\nWent the other evening, most of what your looking at in the chillers has to be eaten by the following day.

It is a small store with a supermarket (small too)\\nYou can find non alcoholic beer, lovely steaks, and I love the pâté, chicken liver pâté. I wish it was larger store. The employees there are great people and very helpful. I love the place.

Long socially distanced queue to get in but once inside everyone packed into the food hall like sardines. Also the toilets are closed. Why? Asda next door have their toilets open, as do other supermarkets.

Gosh, tried to use a gift vouchers that had been a £50 one but still had about £5 on it. My total shopping came to more than that and I thought I may as well put my voucher towards it. Wish I hadn't. Held at the till like I'd done something wrong, while two members of staff couldn't figure out how to do a part payment, swiping the card before the machine was turned on and asking me how much was on the card (I could have just said hundred quid couldn't I?). Patronising tone used in my direction when I could see exactly what they were doing wrong but didn't want to insult them. Little bit embarrassing for all concerned so I just paid and left.

A bit disappointing today. Shows a decent lunch menu which you can see from the short queue so you can make your choices. Get to the till, find out your first two choices are unavailable and there is a reduced menu on offer (which was long and only verbal so you had to remember from a long list at the till and choose again). Received our pots of tea which were almost cold by the time our meals arrived and weren't very refreshing either. On the plus side, the food was ok and the chef was very pleasant.

Found table full of dirty plates and cups floors dirty no real effort was being made to clear it up.For £5.95 I found the chicken burger overprice two chicken nuggets on a small bun with a few lettuce leave and a small pot of coleslaw disapointing coffee good.
