Sokrates Greek Taverna (Horwich)

I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant!
Unfortunately we arrived late and they were going to close the establishment, however the lady at the front kindly sat us down and still serves us incredible food.
The atmosphere was 10/10, with the music and design. The food was absolutely incredible and so was the service.

Harvester Horwich Park Bolton

I absolutely adore the food in here it was very delicious and I love the free salad area the staff were very friendly and it was a very nice experience defo would come here again!

Luciano's at Middlebrook

It has been a while since last visiting Luciano’s at Middlebrook but, after lunch there with family and friends on a very busy Sunday afternoon, I was very impressed. There were seven in our group and the lady (manageress?) who greeted us warmly did not hesitate to accommodate us by pulling together two tables. Service was very friendly, fast and efficient. We had various panini sandwiches, garlic bread, coffees and soft drinks. Everything was delicious! I’m just sorry I forgot to ask the servers’ names and to take photos but we were all too busy enjoying lunch and the ambiance. I am happy to recommend Luciano’s at Middlebrook and I shall look forward to returning. Ci vediamo presto!

Jolly Crofters

Absolutely delicious food and absolutely stuffed, portions are massive! Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Love having this place on my doorstep; perfect! Highly recommend.

The Brewery Bar

Love this bar.Outstanding selection of craft beers and cider. Real traditional drinking tavern.The bar is upstairs, but it does have outside seating at ground level.4* only because it has room for live music yet doesn't do a lot of it.Have to mention the 'Sreet Food' vendor outside the entrance, with pub tables to enjoy it.My favourite bar in Horwich!

Curley's Dining Rooms

We all went as a family on the 4th may for a birthday breakfast I kindly asked the lady serving us if it would be possible to bring a cake out and light candles on my daughter birthday cake I was asking discreetly as I wanted it to be a nice surprise for my daughter and my grandchildren the lady serving was abrupt and was talking loudly so my daughter heard all the conversation and I was told as it was bank holiday Monday it does get busy so might not have time to do it to put two candles on a birthday cake and bring it out .

Brewed Coffee Company

MUST VISIT. We chose this place from the Google reviews and were very impressed. Moumita is a brilliant host, very welcoming and beautiful. We had the full breakfast one small one big. Perfectly sized, the ingredients are all locally sourced, traditional butchers sausage and bacon, bury black pudding ? and fully free range farm eggs, bakery toast. Moumita Cooked it all perfectly and in good time. Lovely tea coffee. It’s the best English breakfast I have ever had… and I have a lot. Will definitely be calling again. Don’t miss out! It’s that good ?

Blundell Arms

I went today with my folks who had a quite bad experience with the prior manager a while back. I've personally never had a bad time here and have been going for years. However, it is good it is under fresh management. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The food was lovely as always.

Thyme Deli

First time I tried here it was a mother's day afternoon tea. The food was so nice , the staff couldn't do enough for you really nice people and atmosphere. Lucy may was a singer she was so good . Would highly recommended to everyone to try it. Lovely cosy cafe. Coming back on the 28th march for bottomless brunch robbie Williams tribute. Really looking forward to it and im sure the food and atmosphere will be just has good.

Donner 24

Never been here before but always walked past it, ended up walking in as I wanted some chicken wings. Guys who worked there were nice as pie, genuinely really lovely blokes and gave great service

Food was excellent, normally when you get wings they’re all fatty and horrible, these were big wings with loads of meat and the sauce they were in was really nice, for a really reasonable price too

10/10 will be going back

CAFE BRAMBLES

We popped into this cafe yesterday with the lads and even though it was really busy, it was a great experience. The service was spot on, especially from the woman serving us who I’m guessing is the owner - she was super friendly, really attentive, and made us feel welcome straight away. She apologised when she told us a couple of things were off the menu because they’d run out, which was no issue at all and handled really nicely. Despite how hectic it was, she stayed polite, upbeat, and on top of everything. Definitely a place I’d go back to. Very reasonably priced as well. 3 of us didn’t break £20.

Bengal Cottage

Chuffed to bits the awesome Bengal Cottage is two mins from home :) Absolutely LOVE the food here. I have had curries and lately addicted to the mega delicious smash burger; literally best burger ever!! Plus a side of nacho cheesy chips piping hot and mega cheesy perfect! On top of the best food the staff there are so lovely. Highly recommend this awesome place big time!!

KING LEE Chinese Takeaway

Absolutely fantastic service and the food was delicious! Great fan of the egg fried rice and sweet and sour sauce. Chips are very tasty and you get quite a lot for the price. Food is hot. I will definitely eat here again.

Beeley's Bar

This was our first visit but we were met with such great service. So helpful and friendly. Made us feel so welcome. We'd only called for a drink but football was on and it was a game we wanted to watch. There was music on and we sat down watching TV without sound. But the lovely young gentleman behind the bar came over and asked us would we like the sound on. So he turned the music off in that part of the bar and we watched the game. Absolutely great bar for sports. Would definitely recommend.

Spice Valley Horwich Authentic Indian Restaurant

This one blew me away guys, can’t remember having a better Indian meal. Had a Lamb lahori, vegetable fried rice and a tarka dhal. The lamb practically melted in my mouth it was so tender. Incredible work by the chefs. I always love a dhal and this one didn’t disappoint. Add to that Kingfisher on draft and great service, it’s all win ?. If you’re in the area, you’ll not be disappointed.

Hollywood Bowl Bolton

We have visited here 2 times now for different birthday celebrations. We typically have played 2 rounds of bowling then spent half an hour to an hur in the arcade playing the different games. Most of the games give tickets as rewards and the prizes for the tickets are rather limited due to the small size of the arcade, however saying that our last visit we had just over 850 tickets and managed to get 5 light up inflatable swords and 3 pairs of flashing glasses to use when we go to a concert in the near future.
We have also used the pool tables for many games of pool. Pool table accepted card and cash at £1.50 per game. Food here is nice but again limited. We have taken advantage of the 3 for £13.99 deal both times we have visited and it has been enough to snack on between 7 adults. Drinks are reasonably priced. We usually get the jugs of pop and share those out between us.

Domino's Pizza - Horwich

Wrong base pizza delivered. Contacted the restaurant and made them aware, they listened, apologised and informed me that if I was able to nip to the restaurant (which is thankfully only 5 mins drive) then they would make the pizza again for me. Free wedges added for the inconvenience which was a nice touch.
All in all, very pleasant staff and as always the food is spot on.

Milano Take Away

Just had the best ever pizza-I like mine really done-wowed I know lol! It was absolutely spot on and the only place to actually get my order correct! Thanks Dave! Highly recommend *****

Corner Cafe

Visited on 12/03/20. I had the Breakfast Barm, I recommend it, my partner had a breakfast. Service was quick but we were not rushed. Good quality with a good price, "Danny" served us, very pleasant. We will visit again.

Square Slice

I love this takeaway maybe more than McDonald's! They have almost everything in this place, including pasta which I don't think any other takeaway has. The people working there are so friendly and joke around sometimes. Their food is delicious and I definitely recommend this place especially if your craving multiple fast food options!

Night Bar Takeaway Horwich

Im on holiday and staying at the mercure, Georgian hotel in bolton and ive been to 3 restaurants this week. Ive also had a takeaway twice but this was by far the best food, service and price. Night Bar Takeaway thank you for restoring my belief in take aways

Marks & Spencer

It is a small store with a supermarket (small too)\\nYou can find non alcoholic beer, lovely steaks, and I love the pâté, chicken liver pâté. I wish it was larger store. The employees there are great people and very helpful. I love the place.
