Called in for the first time on 06/02/2024 and order a special Chow Mein. While waiting for my food I was looked after by the lovely lady behind the counter who was chatty, friendly and just great to talk to whilst the man in the shop was in the back cooking my food. The food was absolutely delicious and busting out of the tray. Probably the largest potion I've ever had from a takeaway. It may have been my first time in their lovely establishment but it certainly wont be my last. Highly recommended.

This fish and chip shop has been here for at least 50 years and although it’s a small shop it has always been popular and loved by the residents of Hollingworth. The food is always freshly cooked, generous in portion size and reasonably priced. More importantly the food is delicious! The present owners are genuinely nice, friendly people and judging by the quality of the food, portion size and the reasonable prices, they deserve lots of custom! Personally, I’d rather walk to this chippy in a thunderstorm to pickup a takeaway over ordering fish and chips from another takeaway off just eat as you can guarantee that it will be fresher and tastier from here!

Went here while staying in Broadbottom for a week. What a fab takeaway! Ken was cooking, and his wife was so friendly, chatting away while we waited for our food, which was fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back next time I’m down here ?

Brilliant chip shop that has been around for a very longtime. Owners Ken and his wife are super Friendly and you can have a laugh with them whilst you wait. Sadly due to close as Ken is retiring so go while you can, once it's gone it's gone.
