My little boy wanted a milkshake with his meal and although not on the menu Stephen the owner made him an oreo milkshake with all the trimmings . My son said it was the best milkshake he had ever tasted. Stephen then came out after our meals and showed him magic tricks with a colouring book. Didn't make a booking as I don't like the need to pay a deposit but they accommodated our party of 6 as a walk in on a Saturday afternoon.Service was so friendly but be aware its fairly slow. Long wait to even be asked our drink order.I don't mind the wait because the food was amazing and fresh!There were so many options I was spoilt for chose so I went for the special that day the Salt and Pepper bowlThe flavours, the temperature, the quality! I was 10/10 impressed and can't wait to go back and try something newAlso the kids menu has a really good variety of optionsUpdate as of April 1st 2024. I have been back a few times and the food quality is consistently good. I don't like cauliflower but when I tucked into theirs..... beautiful. I think they must steam the veg it was amazing.

This place is awesome. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Definitely get the Chaat Platter as a starter.We had a few dishes (group of 4) and we loved them all. Super reasonable prices too.Vegetarian options: Great veggie and vegan options. If you're vegan, definitely try here.Dietary restrictions: They had on the menu what allergens were present in the food. They also offered to adapt a veggie menu item (Chaat) to vegan as well, so they seem fairly adaptable.

But sadly last night our chicken in the chicken chow main was a let down its was like rubber and slimmy and instead of been small peices it was a massive piece just awful struggling to cut it up the dogs loved it but we couldn't eat the chicken. It's a McDonald's so you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect.This one can be busy though so there can be a wait for your food. This is probably due to it being quite an old branch and the cooking / kitchen facilities are not really big enough to cope with demand as it's grown. The recent McD's revamp has helped a bit with less focus [and space taken] on the restaurant side.The location is close to one of Greater Manchester's less salubrious areas of residence so some, but not all, of the patrons can be somewhat "uncouth" [for want of a better word]. However, from previous observation, the management seem to be on top of it so other than occasional late night foul language there are no security issues.All the parking bays are now numbered so you can take advantage of the "click and collect" service on the app. One advantage of click and collect is that you can check your order for accuracy before you drive off, [general comment, not just applicable to this location] so you can query those missing dips, or, the cheese on the burger intended for the lactose intolerant person.Anyway, it's a Macdonald's. Sometimes it gets busy, sometimes [as in occasionally, not always] they make a mistake. But you pretty much know what to expect - a paper bag with burgers in buns, skinny fries and a paper cup of post mix flavoured carbonated water.Edit: Silly me! I forgot to mention the coffee. McCafe coffee is really good! I much prefer it to StellarPounds, Castor, Cafe Zero, or the other coffee house chains. And yet Micky D's do not really make much of their caffeinated offering, their advertising concentrating on the foodstuffs they purvey. Anyway, YMMV but I reckon the coffee is probably the best thing on the menu.Parking: Car park is small for the venue. The chain pub car park next door usually has plenty of room for overflow purposes, but you can't use the "Click and Collect" option if you park there.

Called in for the first time on 06/02/2024 and order a special Chow Mein. While waiting for my food I was looked after by the lovely lady behind the counter who was chatty, friendly and just great to talk to whilst the man in the shop was in the back cooking my food. The food was absolutely delicious and busting out of the tray. Probably the largest potion I've ever had from a takeaway. It may have been my first time in their lovely establishment but it certainly wont be my last. Highly recommended.

I’ve always liked H&C. They are very friendly and the food is excellent. They can also produce items ‘off menu’ which is a bonus when they don’t have garlic mushrooms as standard.Always fast and hot.
