this was so great, me and my boyfriend walked in for breakfast and were greeted by such a friendly waiter, the restaurant is super cosy and the staff all looked like they enjoyed doing their job, the drinks came fast and the food was reasonably priced, and good quality!! We will definitely come

Went for a long lunch the other day. A watm welcome and drinks in the lounge before moving to the table to eat.Food was great. Not Michelin star, but nicely cooked and presented. Dishes seem to focus on local favourites with some from further afield. Lancashire hot pot and Jam rolly-poly for example.Service was friendly and efficient throughout. As the restaurant is downstairs from street level I'm not sure how anyone who has difficulty with stairs would cope.

Took the food 30 mins to arrive. When it did my chips were burnt and fish batter tough. I think they reheated it.My fault I should have complained at the time. Doubt if I'll come again. Also they get you to fill a form in with private info on and they forgot to take someone else's out of the folder.Very unprofessional

Very nice address, in a warm setting, excellent cuisine, with good products and attentive service. Really, a great address.

The place is in underground floor with poor light. Food is ok but nothing special. Clean tea cups are not quite clean.

Great restaurant, there was an issue with our booking but the staff sorted it, the food and service was excellent.

Really friendly. The afternoon tea was enormous .lots of delicious cakes and sandwiches with a very delicate brew of tea. Fantastic.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegan options for afternoon tea

My daughter in law and I had afternoon tea here as a birthday treat for me it was so lovely, topped by Jenny, aka Fizz from Corrie, coming to speak to us, she was so welcoming and so down to earth she made our day. Well worth a visit ....

We decided to book in at Annie's for an afternoon tea before the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour. The afternoon tea was absolutely lovely, nice and fresh and the decor was beautiful. The staff were also really friendly and attentive! Will definitely visit here again!

Booked in at 5pm on a Saturday in the Restaurant and the food was great, good choice, well cooked, well priced. Couple of small issues. Service was quite slow (45 mins) for starter, (35 mins for main course) and tables were very close to each other so you were nearly having your meal with the people next to you and could hear everything they discussed. Waiters etc had to slide sideways to get between tables and carry food over your head. Tables as well that are used were very sticky and look cheap.

Annie’s is AMAZING!! I can’t believe we’ve only just found Annie’s it is so nice, the food was Delicious we had the afternoon tea and the burger, the staff were all so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! We was greeted by Harry who I had also spoken to over email and was super helpful & friendly and then was served by Vincent who was so lovely and polite and made sure everything was perfect with our visit! Honestly can’t recommend this place enough! I have already booked again for next week before going to the theatre : )
