Only marked atmosphere down a star as it wasn't a busy time of the day whenever we where in. Food really good, and Manchester craft ale spot on. The barman let me try a sample before buying, nice fella.Always call in here when visiting Manchester.
Went for breakfast menu (received a small A5 menu on a board) but found it much reduced, overall though what was available was tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service to boot.No Eggs Benedict or Eggs Royal which I normally get so ended up with American pancakes.

Gave Dutton’s another go as we tried last year and wasn’t great but we put that down to industry staff shortages and didn’t feel we needed to review that visit given staff shortages everywhere. Pleased to say this time september 2023 we called in before our theatre visit and found all the staff very friendly, very good, food very good and will definitely be back on our next theatre visit - thanks to the manger John for the local tips.
