They make some of the best pastries in town, so it’s ace you can buy direct from the bakery. Choices are more creative than through wholesale locations or at PKB sites, so it’s well worth the trip. Place is pretty bare bones; other than a service counter there’s not much else to see, not that it matters when the product is so good. Didn’t try the coffee, baked goods were all super.

Been waiting to visit, and finally managed it. Starting with the positives, the staff were all nice, clearly have good vibes. Service was excellent. There was not a huge range of products, but there were some unique ones, so I guess if you crave a special, that's the place for you. But was expecting a bit more range. A simple chocolate pastry for example. Now, the coffee was a bit dissapointing, as for the price of 3.30£, was expecting at least a regular sized cup, but they serve it in a small mini size, and it was quite luke warm, so would choose another place for coffee and just stick with the pastries. They seem to have potential, and good vibes, so looking forward to see what they grow into. I walked there from Manchester Fort, but they do have parking. One or two tables outside for sitting but nothing inside, which again seems called for, maybe in the future. Overall would say good but they could be brilliant. Also the atmosphere, as expected for the area, is lacking, but this area could become vibrant at some point. So good luck to them!

The bread is good but the croissants are too sweet, it ruined my morning :(

We live close by and while the bread is incredible, the pastries very often lack any flavour. £4.50 for a pastry means it can only really be an occasional treat and I have more often than not been left disappointed. If you fancy a sweet treat I would recommend a brownie or cookie which I've found to be consistently good!

We initially discovered this spot through social media, enticed by its appealing baked goods. Despite taking on a long journey to locate the bakery, the delectable pastries and welcoming & friendly staff made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended!!!P.S. We love their Halloween pastries ? ? ?

Great pastry treats, very imaginative for Halloween! Always busy but the queue goes down really fast and it just shows how popular it is. I tend to come here every other weekend. Plus it’s easy to find a parking spot.

Really lovely bakery in Green Quarter. Not a huge range of items, clearly focused on producing great products. Unsurprisingly, it is relatively expensive if you were to compare to mass-produced bakery goods from a supermarket chain bakery - although I am aware of a number of bakeries outside Manchester City Centre offering better value.I had a Blackberry and Vanilla Danish pastry and a croissant with a coffee - I found the creme filling in the Danish to be more sweet than Vanilla flavoured.I will visit again - good for a weekend treat.

Maybe just had a bad day reading the other reviews. We ordered a mixture of pastries on Sunday and really sorry to say, we weren't overly impressed. My almond bear claw had no frangipane inside so was rather plain. The lemon and blueberry pastry was beautiful but lacked lemon flavour. And unfortunately the underside of the cheese/mustard croissant was burnt so left a really bitter taste. Service was quick and friendly, would maybe give them a second chance if back in the area again.

Went on a weekend, reached there by 12-ish and not much pastries left. Suggesting that potentially people love their pastries!Nevertheless got one type of pastries and surprisingly still flaky and crunchy even though it’s not warm! Got a flat white and tastes good too! Will come back by the time the shop opens to try more pastries!
