Lively proper Manchester pub. What's not to like?

Went in on matchday, prices are good, Guinness is great, amongst the best pints you will

One of the very best 'local' pubs in Manchester beer is always spot on.

It’s perfectly fine if you get there when it’s quiet but once it gets busy it becomes insufferable, and you can hardly move on certain days

Turn down the music a bit so we can talk!

Great pub for watching United as always rammed. Pretty rubbish and empty and small any other time. 100% recommend if a United fan but don't recommend for a night

Usually come here with my friends for a nights out, drinks mainly. Love the place. Wish it is as it used to be but looks like things are changing and now with the garden closed and the toilets being located outside. Shame to see this iconic building going but this one will be my favourite place to go to.

It was very very busy - not the best place to go to meet up with friends. It's a whole lot better when it's not like that.

A proper boozer in a sea of bars. Great that this was saved and not consumed by Neville's development.

Steve Whiteside

Great little pub hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great place for a delightful pint of bitter. Football was on too and there are loads of televisions. Great pub.

Andrew “Biggie” Hinchliffe
