Really excellent first visit. The pub is really sweet from the outside amongst all the tall buildings now taking over Manchester.Food lovely, we both went for the pie, chicken and pancetta, served with a delightful creamy mash.Service was excellent. I didn’t get the name of the young man looking after us but he was excellent.My partner finished with the cheese plate which was just enough.We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Came for Sunday lunch, limited menu as focus was on roasts. They were impressive, particularly the chicken. The fish dish and pie were ok, possibly not as good value. Staff lovely, beautiful building. We were a bit squashed for 7 people, but would go again for a different menu.

We had a family party in the function room upstairs. The room was beautiful, with amazing table decor. The food was incredible and the service from Will was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't fault a thing! We will definitely definitely be back again,.such a great evening. Thank you Will!
We live locally and can not stop coming back here. The staff there are knowledgeable and always go above and beyond to accommodate you. On our last visit Will served us, he explained everything start to finish and looked after us really well.Coming back again next week.

Lovely place & the room we were seated at the back of the pub was decorated so nicely. Like a marquee but because it was so cold & windy outside it got quite cold in there, there were heaters & blankets but still a bit too cold.Service was great & the waiter checked on us a few times, however the food was underwhelming. Starter was nice the sourdough bread & arancini but we both had the pie (coq au vin) & it was really dry with very little chicken inside. It felt like it had been re heated a little too much, you can see from the picture. It’s quite expensive too & service charge is added onto your bill.
