Came for lunch at the weekend in the winter tavern, our waiter was extremely attentive & friendly to all tables, food was gorgeous didn’t get a drink unfortunately but sure they’d have been lovely too, perfect for a Christmassy meal!
Choosing the Black Friar for our wedding reception was the best decision ever. The Tavern looked incredible and the food was delicious. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the entire experience. The staff were so supportive and nothing was too much for them. The atmosphere here is nice and cozy with the winter tent they've put up. Food seems pricey for what it is, but I guess you're paying for the ambience. The burger and fries here was very nice but nothing mind-blowing. I'd happily go again and try some of the other dishes.
