Lovely meal again at Marple Bridge Purple Pakora,Tandoori Fish: just enough spice and flavour not to overwhelm the fish…DeliciousMy husband had Chicken Jalfrezi and was also very happy with his choice. Staff are very helpful and fitted us in last minute despite being very busy. No complaints, we would recommend!

Nice place. Service was excellent. Staff were professional and approachable. We entered the restaurant at a busy time however after waiting (which was no longer than five minutes) our waiter took good care of us. Would visit again.

A dissatisfaction on so many levels. Late delivery, food was so different from the menu description and the lamb dishes are tough with multiple bones. It’s like a different restaurant than before ??‍♀️

After a drink in the pub we decided to have an Indian at the Purple Pakora. It was a lovely place, clean with friendly staff. Poppadoms were lovely with 6 different toppings! Very nice. The curries were very tasty, we had rice chips and naan and couldn't eat it all after the yummy poppadoms, was enough for 3 really. Balti was especially good. It cost us £40 with a beer, i only had water as didn't want more booze!! Excellent value.

So… purple pakora have moved in to zayaans and done nothing! No update to the toilets, no bin so a baby’s nappy was sat there in a bag! No loo roll. When I told the owner he said “ there is loads in there”!! Did he think I was lying? He was such a rude man I went with my teenage daughter so they seemed to pull there face at that, probably as they knew they weren’t making the same money of the table as they would two adults. Poppadom delicious, starters of onion bhaji and chicken pakora came with no mint sauce? We shared a main of the chef’s recommendations, it was meant to be a sizzler but it cane in a normal dish? Only four pieces of chicken? Keema Naan was spot on! Chips were served in something the size of a teacup? We weren’t treated very well.. obviously disappointed we shared a curry, but I hate to waste food and we had a starter? Our waiter was superb, non English speaking but very warm and friendly- he was ordered around by the manager.. this was embarrassing, do we treat people like that these days? Me and my teenage daughter probably won’t go back.

We had a beautiful experience at this restaurant. On arrival the staff were super friendly and looked after our every need. They went above and beyond in giving us a FIRST CLASS service. The food was WORLD CLASS!! We've eaten in hundreds of indian restaurants and this is now one of our favourites. We are thrilled to have found this restaurant and can't wait to come back ....The decor is very smart and classy and just adds to a great eating experience. Thank you to the whole team and we wish you all lots of success......

This place is my favourite Indian restaurant, the staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is tasty and full of flavour. Ive been coming here for a few years and it's recently changed hands but everything is still great and the new owner is great. I would recommend this place

Dropped in for an early dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, but the young front of house team were on it, and were lovely, attentive and knowledgable. The food was delicious, especially the Lamb Satkora. Would recommend.

The curries are quite good and so are the naans. But the cutlery sits very awkwardly in the hand. They did overcharge us on drinks so had to get our bill corrected, hence no gratuity.

Very disappointed , from initial arrival and walking through the door at the Marple restaurant it was clear that there was little planning, experience or common understanding between the young members of staff who it must be noted were very polite. Starters and main courses were tasty but all came out almost cold and the table service between courses was very poor and unprofessional, this could be likely to a very young team with lack of experience but they remained very polite throughout and explained that they were having staff issues and a manager had recently left.... such a shame as we were really looking forward to our visit..... hopefully they can turn things around
