When we arrived it took 3 different people to decide where we would sit. The room is very dull and we found it difficult to read the menus. The poppadoms and starter were very nice, but the main courses were a bit dry and lack lustre considering the prices. We recently went to the Purple Pakora ? for a family meal .We hadn't been for many years and we were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was.Staff very polite and even opened door when we arrived.Food was delicious and nicely presented .From the onion bhajis in a basket to the huge garlic Nan on it's own stand .Another plus as we don't like coriander we always tell the waiter and not all restaurants take notice, but they did and not a trace was found not even on the onion...read full review

Been going to the restaurant for years. The food was good however the amount of meat for a chicken dish was ridiculously low. Literally 2 pieces cut up into small slices. Very disappointing. Restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday evening.
